12/7/2019 09:42 | Stand corrected. Thank you. So, effectively there is still a mismatch between bids and market price which is unlikely to be resolved, unless that knock out bid emerges early on. | grahamburn
12/7/2019 08:10 | nigthepig, agreed. The Takeover Code, Appendix 8, talks about either party making A bid on any or each of the Auction Days. Pity, a good old Rugby League scrum would have been great. | realcooltrader
11/7/2019 21:32 | grahamburn - I'm not sure you can make incremental bids on any day in the bidding process. My understanding is that both companies can only make 1 offer tomorrow. | nigthepig
11/7/2019 20:19 | Currently there is a strange disconnect between the market price and the auction process. Maybe the market is being optimistic and some will get their fingers burned. On the other hand, if the market is "in the know" (and the current price may well be nearer to a genuine valuation), then there will either be a flurry of incremental bids tomorrow during the day or a knock out bid early on. | grahamburn
11/7/2019 19:03 | Latest bid practically matched | leadersoffice
11/7/2019 08:41 | 3 million shares bought at £1.16 this morning, therefore minimum bid £1.16 | robin_lemer
09/7/2019 22:31 | Counterbid after hours, are we going to get 1p increases every day, what's wrong with a nice knockout 150p? :-) | iamnotanumber6
09/7/2019 13:31 | Judging by the share price... market expecting a MEIF 6 Ltd to put the pressure on Humber. It hasn't gone down to below £1.10. Fingers crossed. | leadersoffice
08/7/2019 19:35 | Humber have found some loose coins down the back of the sofa.... I'm not convinced Humber will win this battle. First instance they tried there chance with a low ball offer, MEIF 6 come up with a sensible bid now a pathetic attempt by. Humber, a 1p a share increase, tell them to get real. MEIF hopefully will come back with close to where the share price is in order to clinch the deal. Game over and in the bag... the final dividend. Well done all long term holders | leadersoffice
08/7/2019 18:36 | dealit doesn't happen often, most high profile example in recent years being SKY I was rather hoping for more than a 0.5p bump though :) | tonysss13
04/7/2019 15:23 | All very complicated, I have never witnessed this before. | dealit
04/7/2019 13:20 | 126 should secure it. | cityconindex

26/6/2019 12:54 | I do like a bidding war lol | leadersoffice
26/6/2019 12:17 | Counter bid more likely after today's news hopefully. | miti 1000
22/6/2019 10:09 | Dave Once the court & general meetings take place, shares will be suspended one or two days after (subject to change) then 14 days after cancellation of listing, CREST accounts, dispatch of cheques dispatched. So expect KCOM funds towards end of July. What I don't know is if we are getting a final divi... we usually get around 4th August ish. I hope that is the case. Interestingly... on the companies website, it just says announcements T.B.C. Could be there trying to get it through before they have to report the results in July and pay a further divi. We really should get it, its based on past year performance. | leadersoffice
22/6/2019 09:47 | . " The Acquisition will be conditional upon the Scheme becoming unconditional and Effective, subject to the Takeover Code, by no later than 11.59 pm on 31 October 2019, or such later date (if any) as MEIF 6 Fibre and KCOM may, with the consent of the Panel, agree and (if required) the Court may approve." | skinny
22/6/2019 09:42 | I use H-L as my broker and never get sny circulars. This suits me because I am happy to download the things I want from the various RNS pdfs. At the moment the news is all clogged up with the corporate junk of Forms 8.3 disclosures and the interesting stuff is not easy to spot. Anyway thanks for your reply. | davefromdevon
22/6/2019 01:19 | The dates have changed due to a seconder bidder. The date is now in July sometime. Did you get a circular ? | leadersoffice
20/6/2019 08:27 | Does anybody know the current timetable for settlment of the bid? The last date I had was June 11th but I have been away for some time and have failed to keep up ! | davefromdevon
03/6/2019 18:41 | Thanks Skinny ;-)) | svetz |
