09/1/2018 09:26 | >>1500p would See it in the 100 index.>> 1200p would make KAZ the 91st largest company, comfortably in the FTSE100 | zho
09/1/2018 09:05 | 1500p would See it in the 100 index. The rise has been phenomenal. Well done all holders ??? | fruitninja84
09/1/2018 08:54 | 1550 coming up | vas007
04/1/2018 14:08 | Another solid rise today. | top tips
02/1/2018 20:41 | From todays Telegraph (Business section) "Indeed, supply is likely to tighten in key commodities such as copper because the miners are simply too scarred to risk commissioning new mines. “It’s too soon since the miners almost hit a wall,” says Wolf. In the absence of another “demand shock” such as China’s rapid growth, giants like Rio Tinto and BHP will prefer to return cash to shareholders, waiting for someone else to make a move. The wait could prove a long one." | maxdba85
01/1/2018 17:05 | Think a retrace to 800p is more likely than 700p. Let's see if the Chinese push the price of copper down tonight. | maxdba85
01/1/2018 10:58 | On the up again. Good solid reliable kaz. | top tips
29/12/2017 18:37 | Sold today but would come back in if the price gets to around 700p rather have the cash agree that it well run etc but to me cash is king especially given the current things going on in the world very hard to work out what going on | mrthomas
29/12/2017 16:26 | Some bullish links (I am an optimist, sorry !) for anyone thinking of selling up, or shorting (not against shorting, it is part of the game). This says, amongst its poor english, supply squeeze coming The prices of these futures say up not down Check out the technical indicators halfway down this page Big increase in copper price predicted here Note the target for copper of $3.6 somewhere around end of Q1 in 2018 As ever, you may not agree, it is afterall just opinion. Good luck for 2018 | maxdba85
29/12/2017 13:14 | Relative to the price of copper the share price must be approaching a high, or is there some more in it ??? | maxdba85
29/12/2017 12:54 | Yes, another fabulous year for KAZ. Current price still way below previous peaks and KAZ is a bigger and better Company now. Obviously cooper price is crucial but if electric car revolution is going to happen then lots more upside to come. No risk of profit taking later today as market closed - half day today. | kenmitch
29/12/2017 12:39 | Very strong finish to the year on an ATH. Looks good imo. I can easily see this moving into the ftse100 next year which goes without saying will be good for current holders. Not sure if we will get a divi anytime soon due to planned expansion and growth ect. A pull back does look inevitable but I believe it will get bought up and it's what the market wants. Well done to all holders here who accumulated through the 700-800 area and are still holding. These are just my (very brief) thoughts. Dyor ect and see you next year. | fruitninja84
29/12/2017 12:05 | exelsior . maybe why KAZ is rocketing today even as copper price retreats on profit taking ! outperforming the other mining stocks but profit taking must come later today I would have thought ! But who knows with KAZ ! nice weekend all | arja
29/12/2017 08:46 | Gone long on KAZ ....KAZ minerals on back of a 4 year high in copper and massive demand from China as they reduce capacity. A PEG of just 0.4 appeals and the longer term chart below shows the massive potential here. | 3rd eye
29/12/2017 08:22 | Kaz just highlighted on Bloomberg TV....Very well run and doing very well...on the big winner list this year | excelsior
26/12/2017 17:14 | I did not realise that copper and presumably other base metals traded om XMAS day and going up steadily ! | arja
22/12/2017 20:03 | fruitninja84 - yes, I can see how you look at it like that and you have obviously given it a lot of thought . But with KAZ I try to use intra-day chart and day trade it keeping an eye on copper price all the time . It usually works quite well but of course sometimes we can be caught out when copper price moves quickly or KAZ does not follow it religiously . have a nice weekend sport . | arja
21/12/2017 07:57 | Expansion project approved | adukeofkent
20/12/2017 19:47 | and algorythmic trading makes trading more difficult nowadays although at times one can take advantage of it by making a bid of small value to trigger an upward movement when having a long open position. | arja
20/12/2017 19:44 | and much less risk if things suddenly turned sour or a bear market started . | arja
20/12/2017 19:43 | fruitninja, you overlook the fact that a 6% return in a day or in a week is a better rate of return than , say , 300% over 5 years. | arja
20/12/2017 16:55 | But in any-case Congratulations on making money. Its not easy to do as your trading against institutions and market makers. I always like to see private investors win. For what its worth I don't think we have seen the real rally here yet. With Cu trading above 7000 this can do 90-100p eps imo. Which would blow forecasts out of the water. I still hold a tiny bit of my buy from summer last year, and have been scaling in-out when i see fit. This is and has been one of my favourite shares for a long time. Its so geared towards the price of copper there really is little non-sense with it. | fruitninja84
20/12/2017 15:19 | I could never bring my self to gloat over such a tiny return or even a big one. Why risk capital for 6pc? I typically go after much higher returns I.e last year here I made 110%. But I would never make it my mission to tell the world or anyone who would listen. In fact only a very select few in my personal life know my businesses. I just prefer to keep it that way. I've been trading this share since 2010. | fruitninja84 |
