i don`t know whether anyone drew attetion to IC choosing KAZ as its favourite mining share in last week`s review of FTSE 350 shares

A bit late surely to be "finding" the Mining sector? The whole sector doubled last year with several shares at least quadrupling including KAZ. Anglo American a FTSE100 share has gone up 6 fold.

Can't see why a post from someone who's doesn't seem to have noticed the Mining rally could be behind the big rise both in the scctor and for KAZ today. Am I missing something?

I was posting my, *short-term thoughts*, on the KAZ share price and it's battle today with the 3 year high hit on the 26th January, the battle hasn't been won, yet, but feel it needs to break to get another run up.

Hi .. I'm new to this site so please be gentle :-) ... I'm finding it fascinating the price action over last few days ... I was a little concerned for the share price after price action on 26th January ... the company guidance announcement launched KAZ to new 3 year highs of 462.90 ... only to be met with a fall from those highs later in the day to close at 439.5 ... producing what chartists call as an outside reversal day ... but today the stock is fighting back with the help of the Peel Hunt broker upgrade and tantalizingly in touching distance of 462.90 ... short term I think we need to break that 462.90 high (seems obvious) to get another run under our belt towards 500 ... will be interesting to see whether the price can beat 462.9 ... we're only a couple of pence away ... obviously long term shareholders will just be holding and not necessarily worrying about the short term
