30/4/2020 11:45 | This company may be better multibagger than ggp. They can to do very easy - they can to change processing from 250kta per month to 500 or 750 kta. Blyvoor and katoro can make a lot money easier than market think. Market cap for ggp is >300mln, big deposit, zero profits and everybody know it. If a lot of people has ggp'shares who will to buy it? Market cap for katoro is currently 5mln and if company can change processing faster that profits will several dozen and may be faster to start drilling. Why not? There is a big opportunity for profits so maybe any smaller fund will be to want interested to invest here.... In my opinion this scenario can to to katoro multibagger and fine investment. That's only my private opinion and reason to hold shares for longer. | piter345

29/4/2020 12:15 | yes instant jump to 4p if project level funding deal announced. I'd have high confidence in that being arranged given the 60% profit margins inherent in the project and short payback | craffert
29/4/2020 10:56 | One thing for sure is we saw what the share price would do with a positive funding outcome. | onedayrodders
29/4/2020 10:49 | “ The Katoro Board are pleased with the findings of our work on the Project to date and we look forward to providing an update once the final scoping study has been received, which we believe will highlighted areas where, in the build up to production, we can add further technical and economic value. "In addition, financing discussions for the Project with potential third parties have progressed well, albeit with the practical challenges of Covid-19 restrictions and the JV Partners have mutually agreed to extend the deadline for completion of the financing to 29 May 2020 to reflect this. | uknighted
29/4/2020 10:40 | Smack Do you understand what 'project level' means ? Thought not. Go and read the RNS again. | dozyduck
29/4/2020 09:51 | It's extra time to enhance the project economics and get the project debt funding in place. The next announcements from Katora will send this into the stratosphere, and not long to wait....the scoping report could come in days rather than weeks | craffert

29/4/2020 08:14 | any announcement here of funding and it will multibag...£5mn market cap with access to 1.34mn oz of ALREADY MINED gold is a simple calculation. The tailings project will be a 20 year cash cow | craffert
28/4/2020 20:09 | yeah could be an agreement to extend if both parties agree | onedayrodders
28/4/2020 17:06 | Yeah could be, maybe virus delay on it but might not be far off | smackeraim
28/4/2020 15:54 | smack .. funding news could even be as early as this week .. "Must be in place by 30 April 2020" From original JV RNS "In accordance with the terms of the Agreement, the Initial Project Funding, together with all necessary regulatory and government approvals that may be required in order to form the JV, must be in place by 30 April 2020. In the event that these conditions are not satisfied by 30 April 2020 and the JV Partners do not agree to extend the date, the Agreement shall fall away, the JV will not be established and the Katoro Loan Facility will become repayable immediately with accrued interest to Katoro by Blyvoor." | onedayrodders

28/4/2020 15:12 | Done very well here today. Check out CGNR the next gold stock to rocket | saw89
28/4/2020 14:43 | Some quick calculations: Gold $1,700 AISC $664 Profit per oz recovered $1,036 Capex $35mn Lifespan 35 years JV Profit share 50% If we assume 8,750oz net to Katora for year 1&2 (processing 250kta per month), rising to 17,500 in year 3 (processing 500kta per month) then rising to 26,250 in year 5 with a peak flat of 35,000 to Katora in Year 8, I get a NPV over 10 years of £84million at a 12% discount rate and USD $1 = GBP £0.80 So if Katora can get someone to lend them $35mn at the project level, the returns for shareholders here could be breathtaking (17x for this project alone) This seems to be a bit under the radar as the gold price accelerates. The key question remaining is funding that capex as the tailings they intend to process have already been mined I like the look of the risk reward here as a junior gold play. No need for years of exploration to fund as there are 1.34mn oz of reserves (£1.8billion market value!) that just needs to be processed and sold | craffert
28/4/2020 14:26 | it says in the original RNS 30 to 35 mill mate and project level. sheesh take a chill pill | smackeraim
28/4/2020 14:12 | What do you mean 'of course they need funding'. LC has said it will be done for $11m, which is the funding talked of now. He glossed over the remaining $19m, while claiming the full 500,000 tpy. So before you continue your ignorant ramping, you should check the figures and the quoted NPV. They all show Coetzee's usual economy with the truth. Look in the mirror and you'll see not only a lunatic, but a moron. I'd have the FCA ban YOU for fraudulent ramping if I could. | dozyduck |
