Kev....KDR share price is dropping because of sellers, and the prospect of a discounted placing either before, or after the consolidation of its shares. I can't see the above having much of an impact here, the relevance pertains to CGNR. Troubled times indeed here. Looks like it could get messy before things settle down again.

They are making a nice return out of this and CGNR every year....... And have been for years...... Check out their fees...... Some of the posters on here must really be on serious drugs in my opinion...

Diamond Hunter.....management have skin in the game! I totally agree. They are not doing this to pass the time. The prof is not a young man. Anyone who thinks that the prof and co do not wish to make a very large financial return themselves as shareholders from KDR shares are very much mistaken I expect.

Thecynical1 has been here for years why still hold when you could have sold years ago at a higher price all the while moaning? Just like Goheavy on lse who reinvested in cgnr at mid 20s after years of extreme negative comments to support a failed rebellion? Both (if different people) see value in cgnr and kdr despite the extremely negative comments, but never communicate that value, take extreme views with a pinch of salt at both ends of the spectrum.

Let's assume a common sense approach here.
A life style company? ?
Tw states.
Maybe to a degree.
But let's not forget.
All tukes claims.
Rio has effectively been picking up the lab test cost.
Lahtojoki is worth around PEA 215 mil over 9 years.
Green stone within 200m of souce and only 12% been processed.!!??
Riihivaara not disclosed to anyone and no results published.
Director all bought last placing.
Then we have the amount prof owns here in shares he,ll not want to lose that.
Last placing draw down on loan and bought warrants! .
Conroy gold fight tooth and nail to save conroy company.
If a life style then you could be forgiven for walking away! ??
But they have far too much to lose other then a modest payroll.

Not sure what Steve is on but he must be a dream to have as a shareholder.... Believing every word. A age entity come out with.... Obviously blinded by the fact that he appears to have put a relatively large amount of money into this........

As regards the board having the interests of shareholders at heart...... I am not sure what kind of total, utter and complete idiot actually believes that....... Perhaps someone living in a parallel universe????

It reads to me as if they need the share consolidation to make the share price look respectable before a fund raising

This share consolidation has been on the cards since the re capitalisation to allow the last fundraising. We all expected it, and now it is going ahead. The amount the Company will require to finance things going forward I think will be something less than £1.06million, in the first instance. Everything hinges on the next two or three RNS. Finding the source of the green diamond, or any news that could be taken as 'constructive', could bolster the share price, therefore easing the pain of a future fundraising. What would be a massive bonus would be if the Company released news that in any way included Rio taking a bigger role in things going forward. Just need to see if any money is raised before, or after the share consolidation!
