Very positive review in this month's SCSW out this weekend.

It's one of only two companies covered in the entire issue which conclude with the instruction to "Buy" (and the main tips and ideas are rubbish this month imo!).

Odd drop in that KAPE is one of few stocks that will benefit/is benefitting from the lock down. Still only on 16 x earnings, hardly expensive for a growth stock.

MtNumpty, glad I'm "decent"! I can do no more than refer you to the actual article, which specifically covers the Miton UK Microcap fund (MINI) and states that KAPE is the largest holding.

And to that particular fund's RNS's, which appear to show that it does actually exist....

rivaldo . Sorry to be a pedantic pain , especially as you always seem a decent poster but , having checked on Hargreaves Lansdown , I don't think there is a Miton Microcap fund . I suggest it is Miton UK Smaller Companies which , according to Hargreaves Lansdown , has Kape as its biggest holding , at 5.09% of the total fund value of £ 35 million . However , HL's website might not be fully up-to-date , which would suggest therefore that Mr Williams has increased his stake . However , posters on Aim company websites seem to often complain that Miton can be inclined to sell promptly . Good luck all .

This article from Monday about Gervais Williams notes that KAPE are the largest holding in his Miton Microcap fund at 6.5% of the total:

Another newspaper article about the positive general environment for Kape . This relates to Germany , which is one of Kape’s markets . There is a small addendum to a larger article on page 13 of today’s Telegraph . The main article is titled “ Privacy fears lead Germany to switch to safer virus tracking app “ , but the smaller article of interest to Kape is called ” Legal reform : Germany to offer right to home working “ . It states “ Germany could introduce a new law to protect the right to work from home after the lockdown has ended , the labour minister said yesterday . It would allow workers to decide whether they would like to work from home for part of all of the week . “ We want to enable more working from home but not to force them to do so , “ Hubertus Heil told Bild am Sonntag [ a newspaper - the title means “ Sunday Picture “ ] . He pledged to introduce the law by autumn .

Nfs, I'd assume he's saying that for the last six weeks, sales each week have been more than 10% above pre-COVID levels. Which is good enough for me!

RivaldoI too watched that interview and the 10% daily increase for 6 weeksAlways we have to watch the wordsDoes it mean-A) each day, thus 100,110,121,132 etc each day going up 10% OrB) Monday week 2 was 10% higher than week 1 and Monday of week 3 was 20% higher than week 2?I can't imagine it's A as it's too good surely? but some would interpret his words as thatWhat do you think?

Excellent interview in post 1506, cheers mfhmfh. Highlights:

- the COVID-19 period has seen daily volumes up more than 10% for 6 weeks in a row, as people look for more and better privacy solutions
- KAPE's main cost lines are reducing as they've been able to negotiate better rates for digital advertising and marketing for customers (since ad industry spend has dropped off markedly)
- KAPE now have 2.5m customers, all on SaaS. I note this is up nicely from 2.35m at the year end
- average user lifetimes are increasing
- very confident re meeting forecasts
- "keen to execute on further acquisitions"

Something in today's Daily Telegraph " Business " section ( page 6 ) talks about the general trend in favour of companies such as Kape , which we already knew , but it's nonetheless nice to see confirmed . The Questor column , whilst talking about down-size risk for property Investment Trusts which have an exposure to offices , writes " A prolonged recession , which many regard as inevitable , would in any circumstances affect demand for offices . But the effect is likely to be exacerbated this time by a reluctance on the part of some people to return to traditional ways of working , either because of lingering worries about crowded places while memories of the virus are strong or because they've decided they are happy to work from home . Employers may make the choice for them by asking them to work remotely . Some could even shut their offices entirely " . Unless someone with greater knowledge than I have can dispute this here , I would imagine that air conditioning in offices must constitute a highly effective means of spreading things such as viruses around an office , thus acting as a disincentive , at least among those who have worked this out , to returning to an office environment .
