25/10/2021 18:43 | bluntnib - Yes, you have told us that already! If you have a negative view expand on that, don't just repeat what you ave already posted. It's a waste of time! | blackfinance
25/10/2021 13:09 | Go to www.vpnmentor.com - the supposedly independent tech review site owned by Kape - scroll down through the three 'top-rated' VPNs (you guessed it, all owned by Kape)- and you'll find a "Donate" button linked to PayPal. For such a well-capitalised company why do they need an online begging bowl, unless to give the wholly misleading impression they are broke, independent and working pro bono (as opposed to pro Kape)? Then ask yourself: do I trust a company that would do that, especially a privacy and cyber security company? | bluntnib
25/10/2021 12:46 | Mrnumpty, Unikmind Holdings' RNS shows that they crossed above the 62% threshold on Friday. Therefore isn't it pretty likely that having added 6m shares since the placing they're the major buyers in those large transactions..... Agreed Adam - it would be great to see the dual listing on NASDAQ or move to the main market, and to see Uniqmind then increasing the institutional shareholder base. | rivaldo
25/10/2021 11:49 | The fact that the total of the four tranches of shares sold last Friday amounted to exactly £ 16 million ( with , therefore , a very odd total of 4,209,859 shares sold ) suggests to me that there was a buyer who was willing to put that amount of money into Kape , with the exact amount of shares bought being of secondary importance . Does this sound plausible , namely that there was a large ( no doubt institutional ) investor out there who had placed an order for £ 16 million worth of shares ? | mrnumpty
25/10/2021 11:07 | Yes Adam - I wondered why they were buying. Hopefully for the reasons you suggest. Suet | suetballs
25/10/2021 10:57 | Interesting announcement about their position. Will be interesting to see what happens to the shareholder base when KAPE move to the main market or Nasdaq. Either move will open the company up to a range of funds which wouldnt be able to hold it today, and with the lack of tech companies of scale in the UK, it could be particularly of interest just upgrading UK market. Quite possible that Unikmind will sell some shares to institutions in that scenario - diversifying the shareholder base and increasing the float wouldnt be a disaster | adamb1978
25/10/2021 07:15 | Unikmind Holdings have been buying substantially more shares - after the placing they had increased to 181,338,821 shares, and now they have 187,442,335, so they've bought more than 6m shares recently on the markets: | rivaldo
23/10/2021 19:20 | Correction to my post yesterday . According to the LSE site , there were four large sales yesterday between 12.37 and 14.46 , for a total of 4,209,859 shares ( NOT 15 million shares , as I mistakenly wrote ) , for a total consideration of £ 16 million . Apologies for any heart attacks caused !!! | mrnumpty
22/10/2021 18:16 | They must be a buyer in the background. For that volume to go to market... There is only Teddy Sagi that could produce that kind of volume. | igoe104
22/10/2021 18:10 | According to the LSE site , a total of 15 million shares were sold today , between 12.37 pm and 14.46 pm , in three tranches . However , the share price has held pretty firm , losing 2p today . Obviously this is an institutional seller , so does anyone know if institutions set automatic " sell " triggers at such naive levels as £ 4.00 , or is it only private investors who choose such simplistic trigger prices , which can obviously be used for their own purposes by the market makers : would an institution be rather more sophisticated by setting a price of , say £ 3.98 ? Shore cap forecasts eps of 24.4 cents ( 17.68p ) for the year to end this December , 40.6 cents ( 25.375 p ) in FY 2022 , and 46 cents ( 28.75 p ) in FY 2023 , so that would be a p/e of approximately 22.34 , 15.56 , and 13.74 , at a share price of £ 3.95 , which hardly seems expensive to me . I am a long-term holder here . Good luck all . | mrnumpty
21/10/2021 19:28 | Just normal price action to me. Not remotely worried | davr0s
21/10/2021 15:49 | Share price looking weak again, two large trades just gone through. Someone or somebody has sold 300k shares at 390p. Decent top up opportunity under 400p... | johndoe23
17/10/2021 07:49 | Amati UK Smaller Companies Fund have just released their factsheet for last month - they've bought more KAPE too: "We increased our holding in Kape Technologies as they issued shares to acquire ExpressVPN, in their attempt to capture more of the fast-growing market for Virtual Private Network (VPN) products. These allow customers to combat censorship, restrictions or unavailability (accessing content and services globally which may not be available locally) and to ensure internet activity privacy through encryption. The deal was significantly earnings enhancing and was taken well by the market." | rivaldo
13/10/2021 15:06 | Interesting positive article yesterday on Kape Technologies, on Simply Wall Street. | yorkie123
13/10/2021 14:09 | Thanks Riv. I couldnt find any tips either, which is good news, moving up under its own steam. Richard | dicktrade
13/10/2021 10:01 | You're right. I took part in the PrimaryBid raise based on what I thought was reliable research. It was only after the raise I delved deeper and detected a nasty smell and sold. I stand by that . If anyone disputes the facts I stated I'm happy to debate but so far I have just been blocked by people who clearly can't bear reality. | bluntnib
13/10/2021 09:32 | Wasp, Tks, i saw that in SCSW , but the trades today and price action suggest a tip somewhere. KAPE one of my larger holdings so I like to know what is going on :-)) Richard | dicktrade
13/10/2021 08:58 | bluntnib - Your recent post ??? "I got 49% of the shares I applied for via PrimaryBid . I wonder if the allocation ratio is the same for everyone, or if they calulate it some other way?" A bit odd you are buying shares in a company you do not trust ???? But hey, what do I know? | blackfinance
13/10/2021 08:47 | Judging by the number of small buys going thru this morning i imagine KAPE has been tipped again. ST ? But i cant find anything. | dicktrade
13/10/2021 08:44 | Looks like large seller has exited yesterday, onwards and upwards! | johndoe23
13/10/2021 08:41 | Agreed JohnDoe23, KAPE looks cheap again now. One of if not THE leading digitalprivacy/VPN brands - ExpressVPN - was happy to be acquired by KAPE. Their management are staying on with the now much larger entity, and in particular they now have a 14% shareholding in KAPE. This shows rather a large degree of confidence and trust. Institutional shareholders - and I include Unkmind in that - have piled in to raise $354m of monies to acquire ExpressVPN, including the likes of Mark Slater. It would seem that there are many people out there who are likely much more knowledgeable about the company and its sector than PIs on a bb who are very happy indeed with the story so far at KAPE. | rivaldo
12/10/2021 15:50 | The one and only precious commodity that a VPN company can trade is trust. So what are we to make of a VPN outfit that hires a known hacker Daniel Gericke - who helped the UAE spy on innocent victims' smartphones? Their defence is the 'poacher-turned-game | bluntnib
12/10/2021 09:06 | Pick up a bargain here, now rated on 12.8 x forward earnings... | johndoe23 |
