20/6/2016 17:51 | Albanyvillas' (and some others') incessant ramping is simply laughable and seems to be becoming ever more desperate! | cpms12

19/6/2016 11:18 | Of course there will be change but you could argue we need change? Do you know a single person who has been happy about the way things have gone across the board in recent years? I am talking about politically, economic However I doubt brexit will happen whatever your stance. | hazl
18/6/2016 19:15 | Somewin You are joking aren't you ? If we vote out then many large multinationals will pretty much immediately Move large numbers of staff back to Europe. I heard a friend telling me yesterday of one well known company who will move 4000 of their 16000 employees to Frankfurt and have already reserved office space for them - and that's just one . It would be very naive to think there will be little change I'm afraid . | buffetteer
18/6/2016 17:26 | Ignore sentiment, follow fundamentals and a profit should appear, imo, within a couple of years! | ben12358
18/6/2016 17:17 | In their recent results Kainos made no reference to the EU referendum for the year ahead. They obviously don't see it as a big issue. Nor do I. I will be voting out. But to be honest I don't think it will make much difference either way. | someuwin
18/6/2016 17:05 | Completely follow your point of view but was more relating to what influence the sentiment at the moment and that's fear I'm afraid. | hanzoo
18/6/2016 16:49 | Brexit smexit - remember the millenium bug which was going to cause all the computers to die in 2000? Nothing happened.I guarantee in a couple of months we will wonder what the fuss was about. Life goes on, within or without the eu. We need them and they need us. | ben12358
18/6/2016 16:43 | if it triggers recession obviously there will be some cut offs in IT spending as that's what is being reduced first. | hanzoo
18/6/2016 16:37 | But that's what drive sentiment at the moment Gold has closed the week over 1300 and in the same time pound has reversed down trend after temporary exit of brexit with bookies still in favour of stay in. | hanzoo
18/6/2016 16:35 | I also doubt Brexit will happen, but if it did, why would the government then pull funds for software which more than pays for itself in efficiencies? Just curious how you got to that conclusion | ben12358
18/6/2016 16:30 | I really love the fact is that development costs are expensed rather than capitalised. If this reduces short term profit, as their selling SaaS also does, so be it. At least you know where you are with the balance sheet. With current ROE and ROCE in excess of 50% and the hope of US market sale diversification, I will hold until/if rns reports turn negative. | ben12358
18/6/2016 16:12 | doubt the latter will happen....brexit | hazl
18/6/2016 15:49 | Sentiment not with company at the moment ,will change with excellent news or above expectations report. Question is if they will be able increase growth and profit even in situation when government pulls out funds (post brexit)? | hanzoo
18/6/2016 15:16 | I don't think the PE is absurdly high but I do agree that the stock market is about the future not the past. Clearly though the stock has been marked down and we cannot shy away from that. I repeat I think it is a sector thing and everything goes in cycles. If I thought there was something inherently wrong then I would sell up. The thing that compounds the loss though are the wider issues of stock market uncertainty. I am prepared to wait but each to their own; everybody's risk threshold is different. This sector will not be out of favour for ever, but, how long a wait that is impossible to say. Again the drop has happened,so unless you think its going to continue to drop might as well wait and see are my thoughts.IMO | hazl
18/6/2016 14:58 | I agree that it's been a great company but investment in growth is costing it short term profit .Unfortunately the expected earnings increase are nearer 5% than 20% thus the sell off - simples! | buffetteer
18/6/2016 12:29 | Eps increased by 20% yoy, I thought? Is that not good? | ben12358
18/6/2016 11:47 | True Buffetteer, but as Buffett would tell you, the stats that Hazl gave you are strong indicators of future performance. Buffy | buffythebuffoon |
