Have an exit strategy for ups and downs using stops. The problem with stops, the markets see them and can simply shunt you out. Remember we ar like a fly sitting on the elephants back, riding the wave . The Trader aka fat elephant owns the ride/spread. They define the rules and always make. We just guess.

Will Just Eat feel the pinch of the takeaway wars when it reports its full year results on March 6th?

The company mitigated the shock of the departure of CEO Peter Plumb with some better than expected full year forecasts. Revenue is set to come in nearly 43% higher year-on-year to £780 million, while underlying core earnings of £172 million to £174 million would be a 5.5% increase at the mid-point, a dramatic slowdown from the 42% growth managed in 2017.

As for 2019, Just Eat is expecting revenue in the range of £1 billion to £1.1 billion, and underlying EBITDA between £185 million and £205 million. More so than its figures, investors will be interested in its CEO search, with Peter Duffy currently filling in as interim chief.

The pennant remained intact and top tramline breached today pushing her up +20 points. So a nice profit on this lovely trading share.

A strong horizontal pennant tramline was breached, which I think multiplied the effect of the FTSE fall. Had been hoping to see a quick strong breakout but all bets were of when she went below 717. This excellent trading share will recover as effect wares off soon.

Countless JE was and has always been an app for orders only. Takeaways have provided their own delivery service, you know, pick up the telephone, order is delivered. JE is just another channel as opposed to the phone. It is true they are now offering delivery but that does not stop people having their own. They charge 35% rather than 10% for example to close off what Deliveroo and ubereats do.
