27/3/2015 19:41 | And if you look at the Armfield website only a part of their sales are to public sector. | droid
27/3/2015 19:18 | From the statement we now know that after adjusted operating profits of £1.66m in 2013 Armfield produced greater than £1.96m in 2014 .We don't know by how far it beat it's earnout target but the acquisition clearly is going to make a decent contribution going forward. Forecasts suggest EPS growth of 26% and 16% in the next couple of years so on a fwd PE of 14.5 it doesn't look too expensive to me for the quality of earnings. | cockerhoop
27/3/2015 11:37 | Don't forget there will be a useful contribution from Armfield this year. | droid
27/3/2015 11:20 | Yes, a p/e in the high teens; so not a bargain. Will keep a watch with a view to enter around 1150-1200p. all imo. | aishah
27/3/2015 10:44 | Starting to looks fully valued (imo) especially in view of the caution in the Chairman's statement "bookings for the first eleven weeks of 2015 reverted to a similar level to those for the corresponding period in 2014. It is, of course, too early to draw conclusions for the year as a whole, other than to recognise that demand supported by public sector funding remains patchy. On the currency front, the recent strength of the US dollar may well result in a gradual improvement in orders and margins from outside Europe; although the Group's activities in continental Europe could struggle, given the recent weakness of the Euro. " Depending on which set of figures used to caculate historic p/e ratio's could be looking overvalued (imo) at 1510p.. p/e's below - If my caluculations are correct (e&oe) at offer price of 1510p Historic pe basic eps 82.7p 2014 18.3 Historic pe frs3 eps 34.7p 2014 42.3 | pugugly

27/3/2015 07:39 | Inline with market expectations (80.5 v 80.2 (expected adj diluted)) and a restored year end order book, Armfield trading well - full earn-out will be paid. | cockerhoop
