30/12/2013 15:38 | With just a few hours of trading remaining today and tomorrow morning, it looks like we could end 2013 trading at 2013! (from sub-£10 at end-2012). Good work JDG! | strollingmolby
24/12/2013 12:22 | Not to mention up by over 1000% since David Cicurel first came to present to our Mello investors in October 2009. Still only our eight best performer though when annualised such is the tough competition of top performing small caps that come to present. mellomeeting.co.uk | davidosh
24/12/2013 10:46 | Quite a few small buys this morning and £20 just been paid. JDG has now doubled this year and quintupled since Jan 2012. | cornishman33
18/12/2013 14:05 | The telegraph article seems to have brought JDG to a wider audience. Lots of small buys this morning. | cornishman33
17/12/2013 17:07 | Those good years with Paul seem a long time ago now. Having been an Argyle fan since the 60's, Sturrock's were the best years I can remember. Unfortunately due to work I left Cornwall a long time ago and live in London, but I can't forget my roots. | cornishman33
17/12/2013 16:49 | Cornishman, yes = the name is in deference to the great Paul Sturrock. I live in South East Devon now - I take it you are / were in Cornwall. | supersturrock
17/12/2013 16:31 | Thanks for posting that Supersturrock (That's not a reference to Paul the former Plymouth manager, is it?). I have had these for over 4 years now, and they are easily my best ever investment. The article seems to have moved the share price by introducing the company to new investors who had probably never heard of JDG or David Cicurel, as it appears to have made another ATH, with a very high (for JDG) number of trades. CR the creator of this thread originally brought JDG to my attention, so thanks to him as well. | cornishman33
17/12/2013 16:19 | Good article thanks for posting that | helpaargh
17/12/2013 16:12 | Buyers coming in on back of article in Telegraph. | supersturrock
06/12/2013 07:22 | REFS is finally showing Shore Capital's latest broker estimates (dates 29-Nov-13) apparently updated after the trading statement on 20-Nov-13, specifically: PBT EPS Divi 2013 7.00 a 90.5 a 19.6 a 2014 8.20 a 97.4 a 21.8 a | shanklin
02/12/2013 21:42 | How come the directors sold so many shares the other day? | iamb4ne1
20/11/2013 15:50 | I am sure this Judges Scientific shareholder will be happy with the trading update. Hope you enjoy his full top ten review. | davidosh
20/11/2013 07:15 | Trading statement out today. As usual a master of caution but then "expects adjusted earnings per share for the full year to exceed market expectations." | pugugly
31/10/2013 12:13 | David, sent you a message via the Fool. | alter ego
31/10/2013 11:37 | Really sorry if I did not click there...remind me of your foolish name ? Here is the final analysis and top ten btw... It is amazing that a small cap like JDG features in so many top holdings | davidosh
31/10/2013 07:39 | David yes I have. I think we hold a similar number of stocks so a large'ish portfolio - we spoke about it on the phone a while ago but you would know me better by my foolish name. sorry for the O/T | alter ego
30/10/2013 23:53 | Have you completed your top ten as it should make interesting reading ? | davidosh
30/10/2013 22:51 | David, a bit of all three actually. I made the mistake of not adding to my initial holding in JDG which has left it falling back in the ranking despite the value of the holding being what most would regard as "material". Just one that got away in a sense. | alter ego
30/10/2013 22:23 | Blimey alter ego....You either have a whopper portfolio, all your other holdings have multibagged or maybe you started so small in JDG that it has not had a big effect yet ! | davidosh
30/10/2013 15:40 | JDG is only 12th in mine despite having 3 bagged already. | alter ego
30/10/2013 12:38 | Out of interest for those of you with JDG in your top ten you may want to join in completing this ... It is doing well so far. | davidosh
22/10/2013 00:37 | Hi Dave, I would have come to the presentation had I known about it. Sorry, I should have been more on the ball! Would appreciate account of what David has to say, if you have time. Thanks. | goatman
21/10/2013 18:06 | David, many thanks for the comment and link! | buetowa
21/10/2013 16:36 | JDG is well behind LOQ and NPE but has been a very steady performer. The average annual return excluding dividends has been phenomenal and that has been across fifty or so companies including at least three or four where most would have decided not to invest post presentation but they are all recorded. Do check the website | davidosh
21/10/2013 16:29 | David, Hope this evening goes well. Pleased to add a few JDG at £16.94 just after 15:30 hrs. Mind you, £16.25 would have been even better!! | shanklin |
