I think the main problem still revolves around the word TRUST !!
It was Colin that always got it in the neck for various things and people forgot that although he DID issue a lot of shares he got the Company to a good place before bowing out.
Now Leon makes spurious noises for instance over a year ago he said I look forward to telling everyone about our new Copper process (still waiting) The new Chairman stated he wanted better Comms ( still waiting) Leon said the there will be decisions within the next Quarter about SA new INYONI in another area and Zambia (new northern plan) still waiting. He is so inconsistent with messages. I told him that 4 years ago and he agreed but he doesn't like to hear it and he won't change. Mind you in times like this the best thing to do is keep your head down and accrue money in the Bank

Eblizt, you have some valid points. My gripe is that we are very close to 52 week lows and other producers are not. In fact they well off there lows and they also have to deal with all the points you stated. Anyway I've been ranting on far to much. Time to shut off for a few months.

I can't understand why some pi's choose to start to moan very soon after webinars saying they need answers. Why didn't the ask the questions then?? and it's no good saying I was busy that day, you had 4 days to send your questions in before the webinar.

Of course you could send an email now or phone and hope they reply rather than moaning every day on here.

I do share your frustration totally, It baffles me that the share price is so low even compared to SLP however they pay a dividend which to me is one reason why the share price is better than JLP. But I think everyone must understand that the City and private Investors are bricking it because everyone including today M&S are saying that there are dark times ahead. If you bother to research monetary policy especially regarding QE then most Sovereign such as Swiss Dutch Chinese UK and probably US are in the deep pooh !! Inflation as far as some people are concerned is only just getting it's act together but Deflation is going to be rampant in China making product much much cheaper. Shipping rates have plummeted from just under $15000 to $3000. Copper and PGM's may not rise as much as people think because even though China have been playing stupid games with controlling prices their requirement for Iron Ore Copper PGM's Nickel etc etc will not go back to what it was as most was spent on infrastructure which is so over done that they don't know what to do with empty cities. This is a long road and it's going to get very very bumpy. Saying all that because JLP has no gearing and is a cash cow it's one of the very brilliant things regarding this Company. If there are major problems in Chile and other Copper areas and the price does go up to even $10k ton we are laughing but only the very brave make investments in this market. That's my view anyway good lauck all

Slater bought into JLP basically off plan with a very intriguing pitch by Leon!

Inyoni upgrade and the new Roan concentrator were still to be upgraded/built at the time of Slaters purchase of shares. And when you buy off plan and the project is a brilliant success you NORMALLY rewarded!! Now I'm sure we will all be rewarded in time.
My whole point here is that the market for some unknown reason is totally ignoring JLP. Even Leon who hates talking about the share price seems confused about the decline.
Anyway I can wait even though I've been waiting 12 years now what's another 2 years (hopefully).

This is what's so strange and indeed frustrating. The market is supposed to be forward looking so al this extremely positive stuff going on "behind the scenes" should be recognised and the share price should reflect that.Maybe we are just off the radar so few potential investors actually know what's going on.IIs don't tend to look at penny shares anyway which is about the only reason why I would support a share consolidation.

Specific reason Husbod is a whole year and a large proportion of profits spent by jlp hugely expanding their operations and facilities the consequence of which will only be seen in the next 1/2 year figures. At least I hope so! Most people (PIs) who invest here probably don't have any idea about what the company is doing and just follow the herd.Just count how many actually POST on the relevant boards. Very few. The same is not true of IIs but even they have their liquidity problems when they have calls on capital from their clients.

So what have we got here - too many shares, insufficient positive updates or, my preferred explanation, a big seller/s? Given the potential here and fairly recent share prices there must be a stock specific reason for us going so low and staying there.

Rude? To point out that the market is inefficient? Are you seriously suggesting that the market is right when it comes to pricing shares? If so then it must have been right a year or so ago when jlp was 22p without the interest in copper and without the facilities it now has. The simple fact is that some on here have lost interest because they want a quick buck (which they may well get after the next figures). At least the professionals aka mark Slater seem to understand that some patience is required and that deferred gratification is an attribute that adults have in greater abundance than children who would eat one sweet quickly rather than have a whole bag if they had only the discipline to have waited. Sorry if that's a bit rude!

17/11/21 - Copper & PGM Update
8/2/22 - 6 Month Update
16/5/22 - Company Update
10/8/22 - 6 Month Update
I believe that at some point in 2021 we were promised updates every three months (plus anything of significance in between).
Looking at the dates above isn't that what we've been getting?
Another update imminent (less than 2 weeks) based on previous timings.

Pshevlin, that was very rude of you.
I suggest you take your rose color glasses off and get reality check and read what I wrote. I'm not de ramping the share, it does it on its own. The reality is that we are still in the dark, when it comes to alot of things. There's a reason why JLP share price is in the gutter when others are way outperforming JLp. Wake up.

Lights out. No-one wants to know your speculative nonsense. The market is impressed by7 actual figures and as Leon said it was difficult for shareholders this year as so much time effort and money had to go into expansion at the expense of profits. As Warren B says the market is inefficient, which is a good thing because if it wasn't no-one would make any money. Now just go away or stop deramping.

No chance of buy backs imo but in any event it would have to be pretty massive to make any difference.Maybe they should look at a consolidation given the ridiculous number of shares in existence?

What's more strange is that JLP is down 27 percent this year and SLP is up 16 percent ( including latest divi payout) almost a 50 percent difference!! Yet JLP has added copper and cobalt to its portfolio.
I detest conspiracy theories but something ain't right here!! Someone is selling or the market isn't impressed with Leons ramping and future carrots.

I know, wishful thinking. Well hopefully JLP would have accumulated another $40 mil by end of December 2022 and that will drive the next expansion.

Probably more to do with the 2.6 billion shares in circulation. I really wish they would start a share buy back at these low prices. I know they can't because of the expansion coming... just 2.6 billion shares sounds an awful lot. Even a peasant like me has a a few million shares..
