Wish brokers would not issue valuations way above the current market value of companies as always leads to share price falling-happened to Ths,Jlp and Bmn this week.Guess if brokers issued sell notices the shareprice would go up

Sudden fall may indicate buyers have dried up.

jlp might have been better keeping the debt. With interest rate rises that's going to get more expensive to arrange now. Even with the debt we were doing better than this. Barmy!

Can't blame the seller [why didn't I sell at 20p] when all the macro pointers are down. Copper < $7k; Pt < $850: Pd was $2200 just a few days ago. No good news other than production indicators.

Mv, I was asking what your previous usernames were, the last two would help, then I will know your history here. I wasn't asking you for your history of investing.
Well done in making money!

I change my name to mark my current life conditions. I have a 2 year old named Mya who was conceived in Vietnam.. Over the years I have lived in many countries so change my name to suit..

Freedom I have several usernames over the years. I started investing back in the 90s.so witness the Dot com BS and the 2008 crash. Luckily I had planned for the 2008 crash as I started investing in gold from early 2000s.physucal as well as a lovely little gold play centamin Egypt. Actually invested in Cey before they got granted a liecence for the Sukari mine so averaged around 7p a share sold close to £2..i view Jlp as potentially better investment than Cey.. I average around 3p for jlp...so as you can see I have gained alot of experience..

i reckon our seller has sold well over 100 mill.
it has to be acam
the only other holder of that size, afaik, is slater and there's no way he's selling
in fact i think he may be the buyer
he is uber bullish re jlp - watch the interview.

Institutions will be selling right across there portfolios.. There's alot of risk on there books.. They need to shed some of that risk. They know the markets are heading for crash..

Thanks ant. The corollary to that is that if someone is aquiring these dumped shares they would also have to issue a TR at some point. All very mysterious.

I agree ade, pshev, frog.
Acam had 209,447,822 shares when last updated on 13th June which is 7.88% so by my reckoning they would have to issue a tr1 when they drop below 7%. To get to 7% they would have had to dump around 23,454,226 shares so obviously a bit more to drop below 7%. That isn't that many given how long this has been going on for so it's either not them, they haven't declared it or its imminent. Frustrating whatever it is.

In accordance with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) rules, Panel of Takeover
and Mergers board (PTM) rules, an investor who acquires, exceeds or falls below 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10% and each 1% threshold thereafter up to 100% of a UK Company, must, under the Companies Act 1985 Section 198, disclose their interests to the London Stock Exchange and the company, within two days. The company may impose sanctions if disclosure not completed.

Somebody will have to publish a TR at some point with these volumes being traded. This is unlikely to be PIs. What is 50% of ACAMs holding by the way? If someone can count back we might get a handle on this.

what disturbes me is the absence of a TR 1
acam held approx 10% and i believe they have to issue if they fall below 5%
am i correct ?
