07/12/2020 19:50 | . . GSG, LOL, i'm only 2p higher than you. I wouldn't be disappointed to fall short though. p.s. I'm feeling smug now, after changing from being the second biggest knocker of JLP to becoming its biggest ramper, the day Leon ditched ConRoast for tailings. Pity Augustusgloop didn't have my vision. . . | ![]() bullster

07/12/2020 17:59 | Looks like one of the brokers has a mandate to accumulate on behalf of a client. Even before the two big trades the spread was widened to persuade sellers to part with stock, imo. The two 50m trades listed as Sells do look like sells. No broker would take those on their books unless they had a matching buy order. It's £11m-worth in a semi-liquid AIM stock! And the price kept on rising straight after these Sells. The buyer is still buying. We have three days to wait for the RNS... | ![]() 5teadyeddie
07/12/2020 17:56 | Bullster. Think I undercooked my estimate at 22p. I'll stick with that, however I think that Losta will win out at 30p. Pity he is no longer a holder to collect the glory! | ![]() gsg

07/12/2020 16:58 | Sadly, the share price of many minnows seems seldom to reflect fundamentals - tending instead to reflect the vagaries of our modern mkts that relate more to punts against price differences rather than investment because a company's performing well. | ![]() spaceparallax
07/12/2020 16:45 | Platinum group metals (PGMs) mining and marketing company Impala Platinum (Implats) announced on Monday that it would be joining a high-flying venture capital fund that supports technologies making use of PGMs, which are helping the world to combat climate change. Existing investors in the London-headquartered AP Ventures, which this year established a South African presence, include South Africa’s Public Investment Corporation, Anglo American Platinum, the Toyota-linked Mirai Creation Fund, Mitsubishi Corporation, Plastic Omnium and the Sumitomo Corporation. AP Ventures’ investment strategy is focused on companies developing technologies which are capable of sustainably solving global challenges such as renewable energy integration and resource scarcity. A key area of focus is the decarbonisation of transport, mining and heavy industry, by the only fund of its kind offering investors access to these innovative, fast-growing companies built on the PGM properties. Commenting on today’s announcement, Implats CE Nico Muller said: “We are pleased to be joining some of our peers as a limited partner in AP Ventures. Our multi-year investment in Fund II increases Implats’ focused market development spend on key evolving end-uses for PGMs including hydrogen, fuel cell mobility and energy storage. AP Ventures’ core linkages and strong developmental commitment to South Africa will help harness the benefits of PGM demand growth for all our stakeholders.” | ![]() robers98
