05/11/2020 08:32 | . . Todays RNS: -- The Tailings have been previously drilled and sampled to confirm both content and size containing on average 0.3% copper and 0.05% cobalt. .................... We now have a more solid estimate of cobalt to copper ratio. 0.3/0.05 = 16.66% Cobalt content per tonne of Copper. That's very good for us, we don't share our cobalt profits, that i am aware of. With the price of copper at $7,840 per tonne the equivelent cobalt $33,790 per tonne gives $5,630 at 16.66% . . | bullster
05/11/2020 08:32 | From the RNS "We have, within 14 months of establishing our presence in Zambia, approximately 270 million tonnes of copper tailings and commissioned a fully operational copper refinery with the ability to expand the refinery into multi metal products." This suggests to me that if the zinc price is good enough, we could go for the metal instead of the concentrate. | 1madmarky
05/11/2020 08:31 | Seems Losta was spot on with his theory of another deal !! Quite a intricate JV deal with several partners by the sound of things and I'm guessing we won't be told the minutia of the terms and financial commitment from Jubilee. Reading the text one question that arises, is that although the tailings are at different sites within a 50km radius of the Project Elephant site (at Kitwe) are Jubileee going to build another concentrator or utilise the one they are building for 'Elephant' Certainly JLP will benefit from economies of scale, has to be worth 10p by Friday - LOL Something of a muted response from the market? tintin | 9tintin

05/11/2020 08:20 | Jubilee has targeted to fund the capitalisation of its Zambian copper projects through a combination of its own cash reserves and accessing NON-DILUTIVE project funding from leading institutions by leveraging off Jubilee’s strong balance sheet. Jubilee is well progressed with the discussions to secure the targeted project funding and will provide further updates in this regard in due course. NON DILUTIVE!!! | billyusa

05/11/2020 08:19 | Have I got this right? 270 million tons of tailings will produce approx 8 million tons of copper (0.03%) at 25,000 tons per year = a secured 320 years worth of production? ie. long term.Sounds good to me if so. | palwing32
05/11/2020 08:19 | How much does Jubilee make from this deal? No figures and likely to profit share with partners Sack the bod LOLsss | kryptonsnake

04/11/2020 18:10 | Well done mike, at last someone remembers where Leon stated before end of month. Leon corrected himself from few days to at least by the end of the month. So as I said before, perhaps something more important came up that he needed to focus on. Watch this space. ;-) frog, I'm not going to name anyone, but I'm sure you have a good idea who would do that. | freedom97 |
