Looks like a 2mil sell there which would explain the weakness today.

PS I can’t believe Leon delaying the Q1 (2019) figures is down to incompetence. This has to be part of strategy, if not, a tactical play?

Where there are safety issues, there is normally some body that doles out ‘badges’ of accreditation. I wonder if there is such an accreditation for treating tailings and, if not, could JLP be the standard bearer in order to make it a tad more difficult for the Johnny-come-lately brigade?

$5B lawsuit against BHP. It couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of scumbags. They well and truly knifed JLP in the back re the Leinster nickel tailings. Wonder whether they will re-consider that decision based on safety grounds.

This kind of class action is definitely focusing minds within the tier one miners regarding their tailing's liabilities. Momentum def moving Jubilee's way.

Hi boris, JLP reminds me of some of the first attempts at rocket launches. A lot of smoke and sound energy gets the crowd going, yet the rocket can barely leave the pad. A bit more tinkering to be done, no doubt, before lift-off occurs. Meanwhile, the nimble can exploit the spectacle.

Plats, I like the way your thinking.

BHP "knew of the risks" of the deteriorating condition of a Fundao tailings dam in Brazil in the years leading up to its deadly collapse in 2015 but was "woefully negligent" in its duty to prevent the catastrophe, according to a $5B damages claim in the U.K.

The lawsuit, which will be largest group action to be heard in the U.K., was served on BHP today on behalf of 235K Brazilian individuals and organizations, including municipal governments, utility companies, indigenous tribes and the Catholic Church.

The failure of the mining waste dam, which is owned by the Samarco joint venture between BHP and Vale, killed 19 people and caused the worst environmental disaster in Brazil's history.

Under.. I think Bull's referring to the Lifetime allowance, it's the upper limit of what you can drawdown from your pension. Currently stands at just over a million.

But it's only on the amount you can drawdown, hence if you send some to a SSAS and invest some of it in your own shell company, you're not technically drawing it down.

Sneaky sneaky

Ken - yeah... they have a history of shooting themselves in the foot at every opportunity. Some have said that the auditors are holding it up due to the PlatCro chrome acquisition. This may be the case, i don't know. They need to be more professional, they are not there yet. It's a case of pay your money, take a chance. Personally I'm ignoring it as the underlying business is expanding and the story is good. But I'd much rather not have to guess/ hope.

Well after all the razzamatazz of the presentation it hasn't been backed up by overdue
quarterly figures to add the substance ; if I am understanding it correctly as new to this share. That is surely not acceptable .

There's a pattern on the chart that suggest that this week could be more +20% gains.

Stick it it on the one year view and pay attention specifically to the action on the 30th November and the 4th April.

If the same pattern is currently being repeated for what would be a third time then we are in for a very big rise.

Bull.

Set up a Ltd company and transfer your SIPP to a SSAS. You'll then be able to invest as much as 50% of your total SSAS value into your own company.

From there you can buy yourself company cars, accommodation, hotels stays, dining out etc etc and pay yourself a salary and bonuses etc etc.

Thus avoiding the dreaded pensions cap. :-P

I'm going to do something similar and open a Pizza restaurant with my JLP multi bagging gains

will be great when we get penny rises on the day, there is one thing worrying me, this share may make me burst through the pensions allowance cap, If it does, I can only hope it smashes through big time

shares - you'll always get some profit -taking along the way. The question is whether some of those selling are just happy with their profit or expect to buy back cheaper.
JLP generally seems to give you another chance so it's understandable in a way and historically the management here seem very happy to provide the necessary gawd bless 'em...
