Maybe some news tomorrow. Thursday one of their favourite days to release it. It might just keep going up a bit on its own as long as metal prices keep on doing so.

Hi SB, do you think the price will keep going up without news or volume? I don't. That said I'd love the 7s to be the new 5s!Frog

USA CPI data worse than expected so markets are tanking now. Might be the end of the rise for a bit until that settles. No major impact on us but the $ will rise making metals more expensive to buy and generally unnerving investors.
Level 2 weakened back to 1 vs 2. Might hold but depends on how long the negative sentiment lasts. Dow Jones down over 450 points and falling.

Shame the article referenced, makes a basic error, Jubilee produces its chrome in South Africa!! Shoddy copy writing.

But there is no doubt copper is the future, just need Jubilee to get the numbers out there.

Excellent, seems like the PR department is finally ramping up, like the metals recovery!

Contracts signed would require an RNS without doubt. It is legally binding and therefore must be notified.

Make that 2(175k) vs 1(150k) after that 180k buy

LVL 2 is 1(75k) vs 2(250k). Nothing to push this either way - purely down to the trades that come in. If people buy this morning the price will rise I'm sure.

Quote from THS update today: PGM prices have stabilised after a pricing correction driven in the main by negative sentiment around long-term demand drivers. The chrome market remained robust with continued tight supply-demand fundamentals. Chrome output by the major UG2 PGM producers has further tightened. We see continued strong demand by ferrochrome and downstream stainless steel producers in China and, while port stocks have risen marginally this calendar year, most of these stocks are already accounted for and the market remains tight.

SB,
You may be right but not my understanding. I would have thought contracts signed would warrant an RNS. From most recent RNS only stated that IRH had exercised a right to proceed to a JV, not a JV had been contractually agreed.
I can't imagine a scenario where Leon would not be in our faces waving a piece of paper saying the JV deal was done, if it was done.

No sign yet.

I just think that traders will see mid 7s as the end of this little run until we get Roan news end of April.

It is....

@Chozza, as the JV has been announced I would take that as passing through a contractual gate as the due diligence has been completed; they are now committed.

"But when the Roan news drops, assuming positive, then we could double our money in a week" - the apparent ongoing increase in metals prices will help. Copper showing as $4.31/lb now on Trading Economics website, not sure if that site is bang up to date or not?
