I heard a rumour out of South Africa that there was a death at Dikwena/ hernick last week and that production is down temporarily.

It would be nice to have something ahead of the AGM that might stop this malaise! Painful to watch!

I checked Slaters fund this morning. In the interims in May 2022, they confirmed a number of companies where they had reduced and some where they have added. Jubilee was listed as an add. Bit out of date now though

Anyone checked to see if the major holdings are going up or down over the last few months. Might give us an idea as to who is soaking up the dumping. Hargreaves and ii are just us poor suckers.

Coppertone, he said the same thing at last years AGM. And now the 60 days has turned into 180 days as Leon said next quarter ( and that's a maybe). All depends when government agrees the deal which is probably what Leon is waiting for... so it's probably out of their hands.

The point on warrants should be that we should be buying an equivalent in the market when these are exercised, to avoid shareholders taking the pain?

Quite a lot as it's a way of employing people on the cheap. It has to stop as it is severely detrimental to shareholders who have to pay the top prices. There should be little need for them to be issued from here on in as we will be throwing off cash. Might be brought up at the AGM if anyone can ask questions.

For once I agree with you.

Selling converted warrants is causing the drift given the PGM/base metal prices are recovering.

For those that don't know. JLP used to issue shares and options like confetti.
Once known as Colins confetti cannon.

People quoting Ukraine as an issue, well I see other shares have been doing well. That being shares that did not issue stupid amounts of options at 3p!

Gonna take another year or two before Colins cannon legacy is in the past.

Today's BBI stands at $2453 - up 4% in the last week, coincidentally exactly the same number as at October 1st ($2453) - Jubilee's share price is also the same as at October 1st at 11.6p . Last year's BBI record high was $4185 (April)

Copper does appear to be moving upwards - slowly, up 3% on last week and nearly 4% from Oct 1st now standing at $8330 a ton. Bear in mind last year's high for copper was $10,700

Maybe has some bearing on where we are ATM ?

frog: I hope there's something happening behind the scenes at Bali G20 meeting to resolve the Ukraine conflict. Think this will have more effect than anything the company can announce.

Alpal, the price should be higher, whichever way yoook at it. The drag will be the uncertainty over funding of northern and Eastern, the apparent selling my warrant holder, and the lack of clear numbers from the company. If these are the issues then I am happy to take a punt now that there appears to be some calming down of the war monger in RussiaRegardsFrog

Well in the money are the warrant holders, batch expires 19th. So then onto the ones that expire in January.
Not expecting movement anytime soon without a big news announcement.

frog: You're not the only one who has taken a [too-big?] punt on JLP. It does worry me that we have a persistent seller who seems happy to unload lots of shares at under 12p. Just hope it's an ii who bought in at 3 or 4p and is taking profit.
