When you see these intra day reversals on strong volume it's normally because the market has got wind that a big seller is finished imo. Could just be a bounce off the lower bollinger band but the volume suggests otherwise imho

Metals fell overnight on the Asian metals market with Rhodium falling $400. New York metals market opened after lunch with Palladium rising $38 and Platinum $6.
