Agreed.

PH can provide valuable reasoned debate on many stocks, however he is consumed by poison here. Shame, because it completely wrecks his valuable input.

Nelson, you are misunderstanding the wording. The update includes all revenue and earnings that is actually attributable to JLP. It does not include revenue and earnings that is attributable to the JV partner as that is their share and not JLP’s share. BB2.

I think a lot of people have missed the part in the 6 month update where it says the figures don’t include production from Jv partners so it seems the pgms from northam are not included.

Kenny-the actual dilution is 20 million shares in a issued share capital of over 2 billion is less than 1% dilution.-the effect on EPS is extremely minimal-reducing an EPS figure of say 2p to just over 1.98p
Nearly all listed companies have share option schemes for directors and senior employees. These options are excercised from time to time.

Kenny, L&L is correct. CB and LC have NOT sold their share options. They have both sold shares that they were owed from previous salary sacrifice from years ago and CB has also sold his previous personal holding. They still have their full share options that they held precious and have NOT sold these. BB2.

Kenny, I may be misunderstanding you but they have not sold all of their share options.LC and CB still have options, 23m and 13m respectively. From the recent RNS:Following the sale of Colin Bird's existing shareholding, he retains his full share option incentive package. Leon Coetzer's share and option incentive package remain unchanged as disclosed in the Company's latest annual report.

Kenny-Can you explain how excercising your share options and then selling the shares to an institutional investor is ripping off the company.? The transaction results in money being paid into the company-granted at a lower share price than the market share price.
No money has been taken from the company’s bank account and the share options were granted a long time ago in lieu of salary I believe.
We do not know Leon’s personal financial circumstances-maybe he was buying a new house and he still has share options outstanding.
Suggest we wait until the TR1 until we feed Platty’s conspiracy theories

Plat Hunter .. you have not missed the point that so many on here have ( or are choosing to pretend has no relevance ) .... why would they sell the WHOLE of their share options when so many on here are saying this is going higher ... when in fact it has stagnated and slightly retreated . Or am I missing something here that they had to sell as part of the agreement ? Seems some think we are deramping .. why would I deramp a share I have been building ? I am just not comfortable as to why they would both sell and cash in ... particularly Leon who doesn’t have much of a holding anyway ( only going on what others have posted in the past ) . It’s still ripping off the company whichever way I look at it.

Platty-why are you so rude to people who are polite to you.?
My view is perfectly valid in that JLP are using surplus cash generated on current projects to invest in future projects-this is how companies grow
Calling people crude names that see things different to you is not funny-it just shows a lack of good manners and human decency.
If you wish to debate JLP it would cost nothing to do this in a civilized manner and show respect to other posters

Maybe you could just try to understand that people have different views on subjects.

Realise that they may be different to yours and allow time to show who was right or wrong!

We all make bad and good decisions in investing but it IS an individual judgement call.
