There's been quite a lot of talk. But would they dare raid ISA's?

I don't think they can raid ISA's Frog.

Can you imagine the outcry.
Plus they would have to give notice, which would see people emptying their Lisa's quick time making the ftse plummet no doubt

Agree Deme1-people have holdings here which a 1p rise in the shareprice represents more than a decent annual salary.
I will be holding out here until I can upgrade my house to a very expensive area in South East Dorset.
Not solely reliant on JLP as have stakes in at least four other companies that could do the same over the next couple of years,
Although some shares are in ISA my major fear is the doubling of capital gains tax

Agreed deme, my average is around 3p and most of mine are in ISA . I have about 1 mill in ordinary stocks and shares account which I may reduce either side of tax year. I remember a few years back when I emailed the company complaining about the AGM being on top of Christmas. I got a call one morning and it was CB himself explaining the situation and apologising. He told me that one day I would make alot of money on JLP. This is a straight up story, I think I posted about it at the time.

SB

It all depends.

Some of us long term holders have serious wedge in this company. So much so that a penny rise means in excess of an extra £30k profit.

I can see why some would sell when you think there are people with averages as low as 2p.

In have done my fair share of trading in this company, but am now at a stage where I no longer feel comfortable trading as all the ducks are now FINALLY lining up.

"onto people who will hold until they bag a couple of times." ... Anyone who sells after this only doubles needs their head examining...IMO.

Deme, hopefully keeping hold for a longer period will be the winner. Too much cash to come on stream in the coming months to start trying to dip in and out.

I remember the days when there would be an average of 0 to 20 trades a day.

Nice seeing these volumes exchange at this price level. People selling as they have bagged a few times onto people who will hold until they bag a couple of times.
