They can't help themselves froggy, they don't have the cognative aptitude to think any differently.Humour them, it's only all they want and it costs nothing. Simple creatures, like a child or a small puppy.

He also sold out of SLP before the breakout, around 50p if I remember rightly.

This guy tries to convince people he is a stock market guru, yet his trades show otherwise.

Just over 5p now is it?Shall we cut and paste all the different prices you claimed I sold on?Surprising that the complicated individuals view hard published hard facts as bitter deramping.

In the latest Investors’ Chronicle , there is a two-page interview of Alistair McKinnon , the manager of the Scottish Investment Trust ( NOT Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust ) . His fund hasn’t performed spectacularly recentlynbecause he is wary of technology stocks , fearing that they are overpriced . However , he does hold three gold miners , saying “ With governments printing streams of money to support their economies , we’re probably heading for 1970’s style inflation in the coming years “ . He likes gold companies as “ it is purely an inflationary view “ . The same argument surely applies to miners of platinum group metals .

Get back on board or jog on :)

PH,

You are talking about History. I am talking about the here and now and the future. Demand is, and will continue to be the key IMHO.

If we can get £20M fo Tjate, some small ongoing profit take and access to the tailings, that would be good enough.

I first invested in jlp even before the tjate discovery so must be one of the longest term holders here, albeit my stake is decent but nowhere near some on here. Tjate has long been a combination of ‘jam tomorrow’ but also the potential ‘ace in the pack’. Tjate has always required mega investment to make it viable and has thus been dependent on the price of platinum combined with economic sentiment that high demand will sustain a high price. In that regard we are probably as well placed right now to see some action on tjate, and personally I would like to see either an outright sale or a major ‘ no cost to jlp JV’ so that jlp can focus on what they now do best.

PH

Possibly, but the prospect for PGMs has changed markedly in recent times, and it looks like the current demand is only likely to increase significantly. There is one hell of a lot of PGM material at Tjate it seems.

3 x sells gone through totalling 7m shares in the last 40 mins. BUT Price held.

It would seem we are stuck here until these larger sells are out of the way.Clearly orchastrated trades. RNS due on such trades??

re deme1..plat price $1110.at the moment with many commentators suggesting plat will hit $2000..with that in mind you would have thought smart money would have already been taken a close look at tjate.i just hope we keep at least 15% in the deal with a free carry

Tjate LOL...Last Tjate owner got done for fraud. So JLP stepped in, diluted the shareholders, appointed him a non exec board member and gave him loads of shares. If anyone wanted tjate, they could have snapped it up years ago for pennies.

Thanks SB for your advice, as you have been here since Nov 2020.
Some of us have been here a lot longer ;)

So for the long term holders here, what are we thinking with regards to tjate now.

Prices are strong and demand is only going to increase. I bet the Chinese are gutted that they did not put an offer in a few years back for tjate.
