Agree Tim.And apologies.... probably an incorrect turn of phrase to explain my concerns... My issue is with not retaining the pgm earnings as cash and other short term tangibles.Another SA lockdown with a steep correction to pgm prices might realise my fears but i sincerely hope not. Where as debt to fund the copper would have given jlp a significant cash buffer against such risks.JLP has more to lose niw than say 5 years ago when throwing the dice at HernicSpending your cash and just crossing all your fingers that it works out was something I used to do in my 20's lol

Correct tintin, I have reduced my position by 400k on 2 days. If the price jumps by a penny it will cost me 4k to get them back. I can live with that.

How does observing and commenting on the state of play mean Deme has sold?

As it happens it looks like a 'few'(?) have managed to drop some into the market the share price is sliding.

Losta time for you to buy another million - LOL

PLAT. Just a minor point but retained earnings have nothing to do with cash. A company makes a profit and does not spend it then it will appear as retained earnings and cash in the balance sheet. If however, it invests the money say in a building then it will show as retained earnings and the building in the balance sheet.

This is AIM - I,m sure Losta is right, easy enough to bend the rules.

Holding back news like results, is a minor discretion compared to some of the tricks that go on unchecked - delays in a holding RNS goes on all the time.

Things look a bit wobbly ATM - can't sell a bean online.

Not sure results will make much difference under the current climate.

Sentiment has turned.

Frog, I realise that news cannot be held back officially but a nod and a wink to go easy on getting the figures ready to bide time for other news to be slipped in I’m sure goes on.

Might be completely wrong, we’ll see later today or tomorrow.

I was due to go to Berlin on Tuesday. Just as well the organiser called it off a couple of days ago. BA gave me a flight voucher so no financial loss.

deme, it's not a full lockdown, note "Lockdown Light":

"Mrs Merkel has revealed German restrictions to be a "lockdown light," starting on 2 November and lasting for four weeks.

Under the rules, bars and pubs will close, while restaurants will remain open for takeaways only.

Shops will remain open with restrictions on space...":
