It will show, they have a habit of delaying large(ish) trades.

PS

I never used to highlight my trades until I got fed up with people posting I did not hold any! Those are the ones who claim trades after they show up!

Don't panic though I still hold more than plat could dream of!

"Just sold 480k @5.439p shares to round my holding down." Nothing shows up!
Actually a bit pi$$ed off with some people posting their trades. What is the point?

HL are a broker service so it's correct that they should say they don't do a b&i.Any service with live quotes an execution won't be able to do it.

B&B was the old term for intersposual transfers to avoid cgt liabilities.. the loop hole was closed at the end of the eighties i think.Ergo the inter-wrapper transfers inherited the name with the last letter representing the first letter of the destination tax wrapper.B&B is still used yo save people saying ISA, SIPP, SSAS, gift and loan bond etc etc etc.

B&B is not Bed & ISA. I sold some EUA to buy back in ISA recently as HL, who aren't doing Bed & ISA said I could do it myself. They didn't say I had to wait for settlement! I therefore bought back under the 30 day rule, although lost out considerably.

The term is confusing to most people... If the administrator is the legaly registered owner and holds them in nominee on your behalf, then the only place to recored the sale and buy is internally on their own client accounts.Brokers have a conflict of interest and shouldn't be using the B&B term as the transaction creates financial risk for the customers and creates a transaction incentive the broker. There is no spread or price risk with a true B&B hence it's super efficient use of reducing tax liabilities whilst preserving wealth

Interesting point though. When I did a bed and ISA last year, the chap on the IG trading desk (rightly or wrongly) told me the shares had to be physically sold and then re-bought within my ISA.

Freedom you still don't get what a B&B transaction is do you? There is no physical buy and sell transaction for a true B&B, it's an administrative action undertaken by a legal owner of shares moving them from one wrapper to another to avoid tax liabilities on the behalf of a beneficial owner. As there's no change in the recorded owner there's no need for the administrator to go to the market as they are held in nominee. You selling in your GIA to manually buy back in your ISA or SIPP is not a B&B, it's merely a buy and sell.As demonstrated yesterday freedom, you like to fill in the gaps where your knowledge lacks don't you. Tell me, how many shares does froggy hold today and is it a nice round even number?

And what date did frog get 5.58 on? Also, you said you got 5.505 which I know you sold twice yesterday at that price, that's not 5.55!!

PS. I never ever make things up only you do that

Freedom both me and frog have corrected you and proved you wrong..May i suggest taking some drugs to level you out with reality. You can't often get quotes because it's an illiquid stock with an average market value size of less than 150k. To put that into perspective, i was a third of the market here yesterday.

I'm not thinking of the article below in terms of Zambia but in SA, where Jubilee where Amplats have a certain asset for sale next door to Tjate.

Canadian mining company Ivanhoe Mines has signed an agreement with China Nonferrous Metal Mining (CNMC), to jointly explore, develop or acquire mining projects in Africa.

"In May last year, CNMC and an undisclosed Turkish company planned to acquire a stake in Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), a copper mining and smelting company in Zambia."
