My only concern is if there was to be a placing involved in this deal, then this would have been months in the making. So a potential placing could have been agreed at around the 3p Mark.

I just hope that Leon has seen what placings have done to the reputation of JLP and opts to use a small fraction of our $50mil debt facility instead of a placing.

Imagine if we got a sniff of a buyer for Tjate!

All RNS's are price sensitive that's their purpose.Otherwise just stick it on the website or do podcasts with Zack Horsemanuir

Depends on how you look at it Skipper.
You have managed to add when potentially many more could have tried at a 7am rns and you would have paid more- or less.

eventually the price will reflect on how the end is seen. Be it now, close of play or even tomorrow am.

Mutely Walters, I agree. Great News RNS for sure but the fact that it is not specified that the Minority funding will not include a placing has stopped the share price blasting through 5p on that release this morning.

I wish they wouldn't put these RNS's out at 8.30. A lot of people will have missed this if they are working. Just added 65k anyway.

Personally, I couldn't care less, as I'm in for the long term anyway.

Could Losta's 7p become a reality in 2019

Historically, I do not project share prices, but I will be very surprised if this is not over 5p by the close. The income potential is booming.

I have to say that given that Hernic started off as a large contract processing demo plant to showcase JLP's processing capabilities on a 30% return, Leon has played a blinder in turning it into the cash generator that it is today.

Although priced in this is huge news. I think we could actually see another 50% rise in share price by year end

The fine chrome solution that JLP have crafted could be a game changer in itself Madmark

DME - if the chrome price remains weak there could be any number of operators in need of business rescue or bailing out. The challenging environment has worked very much in our favour so far.

I am sure Leon is sitting by the phone awaiting his call from proactive investors!

Isn’t the real benefit of this deal that we are now going to recover the Fine Chrome, which we wouldn’t have been historically, which multiplies the earn. Assuming we have only paid on the existing recovery profile we should get back multiples more?

So JLP now have

DCM - fine chrome (with pgms building up)
Hernic - Plat and chrome
Kabwe - acid and copper (to be followed by lead, zinc and vanadium)
Windsor - Plat and Chrome
Tjate - unmined plat resource (surely coming into play soon with plat and pal prices firming up)

Where will we be at the end of 2020!
how many more projects can we organically buy into!

I suspect it will be debt funded. With their apparent income about to rise steeply, it seems, there should be no problem. No need for a placing if such is the case.

Well yes and that is what Leon alluded to in the last interview.

we were paying the operational costs to remove the chrome only having to hand the chrome over to Hernic. Now we get all of the chrome revenue with NO extra operational costs.

So we now sell the chrome which is essentially free as the PGMs have paid for it... gota be good

The key bit.

"The total consideration for all the chrome contained in the historical tailings is approximately US$16.39 million (at current conversion rates), which will be majority funded from Jubilee's existing cash and operating cash flows, together with project funding as necessary."

Where will the minority of the funding come from?
