Secondly, the placings were done to buy assets that lost money, so another placing was done to buy another asset that lost money and to cover the loss from the previous asset made, and so on and so on. Let's say we do a placing at 2p, for a tailings dump for £1M. Let's say that dump earns you £10M in profit. So you earn 8p on each 2p of placing.
