22/8/2019 19:15 | yo Undie.. I don't suppose we can get the Kitco Silver price chart in the header could we? I always find myself googling it separately, no biggie but as it's an industrial metal more than it is a store of wealth, it will be more correlated to what we are looking out for here. Only imo of course. | ![]() plat hunter
22/8/2019 18:58 | Hi Tim! I think you'll find that you've read that wrong. Galileo are planning to mine 72,000 tonnes of contained zinc over six years - at an average of 12,000 tonnes a year. Allowing for a 90% metal recovery rate, and you are looking at revenue from Star Zinc of about $30m per year for six years (assuming 3 year average zinc prices of $2,700 per tonne). From Galileo's own RNS's it is clear that the planned revenue split between Galileo and Jubilee is about 50/50, or $15m p.a. each. Galileo have very low mining costs, so they may manage to achieve project earnings of over $10m per year. I think Jubilee's costs will be higher, so I reckon they will earn about $5m per year at Sable from processing the Star Zinc ore alone. For Jubilee it is a very profitable "extra" to the main source of Sable's earnings, which will come from processing the Kabwe tailings. For Galileo, which has only a tiny market cap of 2.4m quid, it is relatively a much bigger deal. | bookwormrobert
22/8/2019 18:39 | when are we going up? am waiting for my 10p payback in JLP | nash81
22/8/2019 17:45 | Sorry to say but I read the GLR RNS somewhat differently. I thought it read that there are 500,000 tons of material of which 77,000 tonnes has a zinc content in excess of 2% further that 72,000 tonnes has a zinc content in excess of 8%.Thus the zinc in the 72,000 tonnes would be 5760 tonnes at todays price of $2,245 would be $12,931,200. Allowing for the extraction cost this would still leave considerably more than the GLR MC.It ought to be more as the actual zinc content will be more than the 5760 tonnes. | timhigginson

21/8/2019 21:15 | Funny thing is, XTR have an asset in Chile and BMR want to buy an asset in Chile lol Probably won't but if BMR did raise cash and used it to purchase an asset from a CB company then I would be out like a flash, that would be the red line for me. | ![]() plat hunter
