SFE.Just seen that the CEO and CFO bought shares as recently as August and worth almost nothing now.Good results from BMY with record revenues and good outlook.Of course it's down.These markets!

Waking up to a bid for SCS at £100m. Huge cash balance, so the bidder buying the business cheaply. Major IIs have not committed. Will wait for market reaction.

Agree with all the above BB though I think the wise leadership could be a problem.Lots of cash in the safe houses at the moment waiting but some of the yields and ratings of very good quality earning companies are getting too hard to ignore.

Markets have been terrible and will continue to be terrible for the foreseeable. I’m seeing prices of stocks that I thought I’d never see, so much so that some are paying 8 9 and 10% dividends. That old saying “Hold for the long term” might be falling on deaf ears at the minute but I still believe it to be true. The world isn’t in a great place currently but with any luck and wise leadership we should come out the other side. Looking at my top ten holdings few have been immune to the spiral downwards but if I’d been fortunate enough to have everything invested in NBB I’d be a lot happier. Funny a hindsight bulletin board colleague wondered why I hadn’t sold ORCH and GTC earlier. I had to laugh as my crystal ball 🔮 must’ve lost its power. A more relevant saying would be only invest what you can afford to lose as my top ten will show.

7/ CAU -13%

My YTD is currently down almost 8% which isn’t great but I’m beating the AIM index so I’m grateful for that. Several takeovers helping though I’m not sure ROL will actually happen and EPIC isn’t as clear as I’d like. I believe you learn the most about a stock when it’s fallen as it forces you into extra research 🧐. Too late I hear you say 🤣. Nope it’s never too late. Anyway holding my stocks tightly and with 10% cash I may even purchase more.

Storms in the shares market and weather storms here in the north. Pretty high winds here and now heavier rain in north east Scotland. Will we be swimming in the morning and will the power stay on - these are more important right now than the price of a share.
