Estimated NAV/share for JPEL as at 31 May 2021: $1.86

Up 2c.....but really the only thing of interest is when do they find a buyer for the Swania stake!

Creeping better: 132c-135c. Hoping for a trade sale or buy-in of the Swania stake.

Charles Stanley Direct provided the KID and I was able to buy 10,000 within the spread after which they sent me a copy of the KID.

I had that yesterday with YouInvest; so couldn't deal online; had to go manually - took forever as they tried to find why not available online. Eventually got a few at 117c; but would have bought more online as could assess size.

Made steady progress since the cheap stock was taken out 11:35 - 12:33. Closed at 123c-127c. Still cheap on a 32% NAV discount at 127c.

Swania - At Sep'20 it was valued at c$54m. It would seem now valued at c$64m. So 46% of NAV. Pass that stake on to someone and a 50% Tender awaits!

Pejaten - would obviously be great if that valuation upgrade proves to be a precursor to a sale. Not exactly sure of the %age of assets Swania represents, but certainly North of 50%. Will go and research that one (should have done it earlier!).

Pejaten - thnx for that; but where do you see it? As of now it doesn't appear on their website:

Ahh - belay that, I see this on the NAV RNS:

"Shareholders may access an electronic copy of the Month End Review at www.jpelonline.com by clicking the "Investor Information" link on the home page and then clicking the "Reports" link. An electronic copy of the Month End Review is also attached to this notice."

Will go and take a look...

The monthly report says that Swania was revalued at mark to market. This suggests that either there was a recent trade in the shares or hopefully a price have been negotiated for the potential purchase of JPEL shares.

WOW - JPEL shoot the lights out with that Feb'21 NAV figure - 187c - a 7.5% increase on January's 174c.

At 117c the discount climbs to 37.4%.

They surely must have revalued Swania - can't think what else would have had such a large effect.

117k bought at 114/115c. Encouraging to see someone prepared to commit here, after a long time of no action whatsoever since the last redemption.

At 115c the discount is 33.5%, so clearly offers really good value PROVIDED their remaining one large investment in French consumer durable outfit Swania, holds up or receives an offer.

A rise of 3.6% in the Dec'20 NAV up to 173c helps to counteract the weak $ & Euro versus the recovering £.

So, today's RNS reveals the seller of the 7.8m shares (9.5%) was Barwon Investors of Sydney. No surprise there as they reduced below 10% just a few days ago.

No mention yet of the buyer...
