@spob - just logged in to Selftrade to check & was credited on 23rd December - so you're entirely correct re BARC's ineptitude.

" Payments of redemption proceeds are expected to be effected either through CREST (in the case of shares held in uncertificated form) or by cheque (in the case of shares held in certificated form) on or around 22 December 2016. "

Yes had mine from ST a few weeks ago. In process of closing my Barclays a/c (for other reasons) & won't be sorry to see the back of them.

Following this sale JPEL should have sufficient funds to clear the ZDP payment. This has implications as they will not need to retain 50% of future proceeds. A sale of Datamars was muted a couple of months ago, at 6.6% of the portfolio that would provide a sizeable payout.

There is an updated shareholder presentation on the website which is useful.

This should surely be trading on a single digit discount (if not less). I would guess that the current NAV is $1.50.

WOW Tilts - that is sure some conviction - and why not of course!

Personally only at my 10% MAX.

That is some uplift; they obviously held it at far lower price than ELTA. Looks like there could still be considerable value in the portfolio.

Think I will be upping my buying price. Already at 3x unit size!

Looks as though the Innovia sale should add circa 4.8c to the NAV - See Header for the RNS which eventually arrived after hours today. I fail to understand why JPEL are always so late with everything!

BT - I recall you said you don't have so much skin in the game these days, so we don't hear from you quite so often. Anyway, glad to read you have a good allocation here, though as Tilts implies, you could always take on a few more!

A very Happy Christmas to you....and to all on this thread.

go on...you know you want to!

It's been a good year for JPEL...and I believe 2017 will continue in the same vein.

Looking forward to further Tenders at a growing NAV.

All the best to all contributors...and badtime ;)

Selftrade have added the balance of the redeemed stock to my a/c, whilst simultaneously failing to remove the original holding. Makes for a nice addition to the ISA balance but could be a long while before I genuinely hit that level!

Of course 1.15c was = to just 91.25p a couple of weeks ago; now more than 93p!

Actually I see it was 6601 I bought yesterday - 1601 to get back the redeemed stock and then another 5000 on top.

Trying to buy stock in decent numbers, and can't get many. I think the market is short...and loathe to call the price up!

Electra were quick off the mark, but it would be nice if JPEL would make the announcement.

Innovia have been sold, which gives an uplift of 32% to Electra (should be similar for JPEL)

Innovia represents 3.6% of the JPEL portfolio, with a holding value of $17.6m.

I make that the equivalent of a 1.09% dividend - calculated using the premium element redeemed; ie the difference between 1.115c & 1.42c for a 1000 share holding = 30.5c x 40 = $12.20 = £9.80.

So, pretty small beer, but it is just a start after all...
