26/8/2009 14:59 | This must be an error? | love it
26/8/2009 14:54 | When i refresh my L2 it says 17 v 18p 1 v 1 for a few seconds lol Man this is a massive auction. Computer broken? | love it
26/8/2009 14:51 | STILL in Auction , yet nothing seems to be happening .....Weird ! Seems almost like a `Contrived Suspension` ! | boobly
26/8/2009 14:42 | JSG.GB shows 6 trades on PLUS, so 10 in total. Which is... fairly pitiful... Ho Hmmmmm... | katylied
26/8/2009 14:38 | ......This is at least the second time in the last two weeks that we have been in extended Auction ! WHY ? There are effectively NO trades . Hardly surprising with this huge daily spread ! I can only think - hope - that there is some mighty exciting news that is about to break , and they will just allow this to multibag in one go . ....Probably wishfull thinking , but I just can`t understand the Nil Trading situation here . | boobly
26/8/2009 14:24 | Fortelus Capital Management LLP now have 4%? Missed the second RNS Any one make sence of this? If there was an overhang no way would the spread be this wide. Interesting | love it
26/8/2009 09:32 | risk if they had placed their order months ago with little volume it there could still be an overhang. | knowing
26/8/2009 09:30 | Morgan Stanley has gone under 3%, they were sellers | 9,501,714 | Under 3% | | master rsi
26/8/2009 07:53 | No sign of a seller that I can see, no bulk trades ect matched sells. Just MM's not wanting trade. If in fact there was a seller then the spread would be loads better to get the buyers in. See it all the time. Makes no sence at all to have a wide spread for a seller as people stay away. MM's only selling near full offer as well. All points to MM games. I maybe wrong but think I am about right. | love it
26/8/2009 07:41 | if there is a seller around this close to results it begs the question WHY? | risk1
26/8/2009 07:13 | Knowing - The fundamentals do look good, the head of the group is one of the best turnaround guys in the business and has been heading this up since December 2007... his turnaround plan has unfolded methodically one step at a time and is set to report good results at the forthcoming interims - and I think the restoration of the dividend and the prospect of a rising dividend is coming here... Assume no nasty surprises (and my confidence here rests on the track record of the management) and a couple of pleasant ones and I think this is going to rerate. I've been building a position here for a while and trading with the rest... happy to have it there waiting... Best wishes Chrysippus | chrysippus
25/8/2009 23:48 | That will be what's been holding the price back, then - cheers knowing, big up day tomorrow! | chrysippus
25/8/2009 23:47 | MC totally wrong too. | knowing
25/8/2009 23:46 | Well spotted - hadn't seen that till you mentioned... That -75p EPS is the 2007 outturn - think I'll take it off! | chrysippus
25/8/2009 23:40 | Tell you one thing Chris....the fundamental data is well out in the header. | knowing
25/8/2009 23:36 | Boobly , cheers - nice to get some company here - checked out NPH chart and would be nice to see that shape here... ...definitely a select few interested in this! The price activity is weird at the moment - I'm not a conspiracy theorist though - I just can't get too concerned about owning this share. I hope there isn't anything too 'exceptional' in the results - but even the brokers (investec) say 12m pbt so that gives some reassurance and all the research points to the good. Any visitors have any ideas on why a spread would stay so wide for so long? It does make me curious. Best wishes Chrysippus | chrysippus
25/8/2009 20:34 | Yesterday I could not get any better then 19p so I paid it as I think it so undervalued if the divi is indeed paid this next time around.. | kulvinder
25/8/2009 19:19 | 5dally, Boobly, this is the first day I've bought inside the spread, I've tried over the past week at 18.4, 18.6, and 18,7 today amazingly I managed to get 18.5, not sure if that speaks well. I guess the valuation and turnaround/ management of the business appeals to me, I think the downside is limited and the upside greater. Either way it wont stay at this price forever. I'm hoping results confirm a business that's staying well in business and if so I will be long for some time, hoping to make a lorra lorra dosh on this. The postings by Chrysippus sums it up well. G'luck all | owenski
25/8/2009 14:15 | They are going to have to close the spread at some point,,,don't you think ? | 5dally
25/8/2009 14:11 | Crysipus:.....fwiw : Back in March I was fortunate to build a holding in NPH , for MONTHS it`s done nothing ; just look at it today ......and I think recovery has not yet started and the potential not yet released by the company . There is an extraordinary parallel with JSG , Have a quick look at the two charts !. Nobody is interested (`cept us !) nobody trading , the market may have completely misjudged recovery potential , and the Company clearly does not wish to release news until they can release positive news . I think ONE day we`ll see a huge spike North in this , and the long long wait will have been worthwhile . Not too late to buy a few despite the spread . Riski :......It seems that the market has shut up shop on JSG , possibly because they just don`t know what`s going on , as owenski said above it is possible to by within the silly spread . Could be a big gap up one day . Good luck ALL ! | boobly
25/8/2009 13:46 | Picked up a few more inside the spread | owenski |
