07/9/2009 11:27 | I agree - the volume that has gone through on the offer over past 3 trading days and not a single rise in the bid. Plus MM's tends to move their position first so hopefully see this rise today | cammy3

07/9/2009 08:45 | "...Most of the 'proper' pubs in U.K. are now closed thanks to the 'do-gooders' who have never been in a pub in their lives..." Nice rant, but I think you will find that vast supplies of cheap alcohol (loss leaders by supermarkets, for example) have destroyed to profitability of the traditional pub model. Don't think 'do gooders' have had very much to do with that. Bizarrely however, Gordon Brown & Co, for all their protests over binge drinking, seem very reluctant to do anything about it. Go figure... | katylied
06/9/2009 20:02 | The proof in the pudding will be on Wednesday Gents - not long to wait !!! | kulvinder

06/9/2009 16:16 | Here's the summary love it Can it gey any worse? Analysts don't think so. Investec, Johnson's broker, expects it to return to dividend list this year despite difficult trading. Analysts reduced their full-year profit forecast by 5% in July, and now expect the company to make an underlying profit of £12m this year. Johnson's shares are trading at 5.5 times predicted earnings. The share price has fallen 23% in the past month alone, giving the company a market value of £44m. | bigbigdave
