shouldn't be too long before we spring into action here, strange though how it appears the sell side is a holder below 3%, can't be too much left to go

same thoughts, would have expected some decent price gain on the back of those buys, but i suppose we will have to wait for that coiled spring action

Directors wont buy just as a goodwill gesture, I'am sure they are in the Know and have a positive outlook going forward medium to long term!
When the green shoots really appear, JSG will be rerated with a positive upturn in share price

and with "Net debt at the end of June is expected to be approximately £75.5 million". I doubt if they will pay a dividend, or if so, just a face saver - cant see the bank allowing it, this is going DOWN to sub 10p

enterprise value 110 million, neg shareholder funds declining profitability, probably be bogged down for years - if they survive

Agree with you Boozey. We would all like to pile in at under 10p but it wont happen.Contract wins, net debt reduced etc etc. There are some encouraging signs here.Looking to buy more.

I would say in the current climate that is a solid trading statement by anyone's reckoning, but each to their own....we will see...

ah ah, the explanation for the drift down.....good job we have chinese walls and the fsa to protect shareholders from inside knowledge holders...I have no doubt that myopic holders will put a positive spin on this statement, but to me it is a profit warning by another name

"Net debt at the end of June is expected to be approximately £75.5 million....We expect trading conditions to remain challenging throughout 2009. ..... The Board expects profit before tax (before intangibles amortisation and impairment) for the year as a whole to be satisfactory given the current economic climate."

In other words the outlook is detiorating comapared with expectations a few months ago. A opportunity to buy at sub 10p again soon imho

You might be right with JSG Frauddy, who knows.

I certainly am not as confident as I was of APG and this is no APG, I know that.

But the directors previous statement was upbeat, they talk of return to divi too. However I agree the trading here might say something. I don't hold a stack and all small AIM stocks are a gamble as you know too well :-)

If the co has been strait with its statements it's cheap imo. If they have hidden something then who knows.

Not for widows, orpans and certainly not one to have a major stake in until the co tells us more imo.

I think you will start to see some action when the results are due, especially if we see some more improvement from the last time - it just a waiting game, only my opinion not signal to buy, please do your own research.

crookney, something wrong here i suspect......the price tells the story, it isn't like APG where you're still underwater and often only a few hundred quids worth are traded in a day - amyway the reason i am posting is to alert you to the potential in SAF. I will let it speak for itself, but put up a chart, preferably for 20 years and with LAND as a benchmark. I bought them in 1992 one afternoon i picked up a million or so for 7p each, you can see what happened over the years....but of course that doesn't tell the whole story, they spun off Hercules and one or two other business along the way. Now cycles being what they are, and family controlled companies with long histories being rare......this is a rocket back on the launch pad.

I know it takes patience but I reckon it will be rewarded. I've been waiting for months for APG to come good, it doubled in a day today.

Too late to buy when the good news is out.

Interesting to see during June alone, 3 different funds increasing their stake in this one.
