10/7/2024 08:56 | Well it could be argued it's put in a double bottom and an uptrend seems to be in place. 100p does not look unreasonable looking at the chart from earlier in the year. | ![]() cc2014
03/7/2024 11:37 | Unfortunately boards of directors are not prone to ending uncertainty. They probably don't plan to meet (or talk to each other) until September. | ![]() shieldbug
02/7/2024 14:24 | If the prospectus, would allow it, then maybe they should call an early EGM ,to end any lingering uncertainty? | ![]() route1
01/7/2024 13:41 | My guess is around 15% will vote in favour of the discontinuation vote. | ![]() cc2014
01/7/2024 13:16 | CC2014 - "I do not expect it to pass by some margin." what does that mean? | ![]() shieldbug
25/6/2024 14:02 | They have no choice over the discontinuation vote. It's in the prospectus as the discount to NAV is above 10% I do not expect it to pass by some margin. One of other renewable funds had one about a week ago or so and the shareholders voted to continue. | ![]() cc2014
25/6/2024 13:58 | Just finished listening to the presentation. It was as usual very comprehensive covering all aspects of the company's performance for the past year. The presentation was very thorough, with all future operations in all divisions seeing a great amount of prudence and care taken in executing these operations. The company obviously holds its investors in high regard and asset disposal to pay down debt and share buybacks remain possible. All of the above was very comforting to hear,HOWEVER, what was to me extremely worrying to hear was that a DISCONTINUATION vote will be held at the AGM in September and of course we are strongly encouraged to vote against it. I would welcome any thoughts thought from this board | ![]() route1
24/6/2024 17:06 | I think we may need to get the continuation vote out of the way to get to those levels. We have a continuation vote because of the discount - we have a discount because of the continuation vote. (to an extent) | ![]() shieldbug
24/6/2024 12:53 | Grateful for your post, after the results last week and the 3% dividend increase plus confirmation that a new RCF has been agreed there is absolutely nothing to stop the share price improving apart from the headwinds of interest rates , which when they finally decline, will benefit all sectors. | ![]() route1
24/6/2024 11:51 | I'm no chartist but we seem to have put in a double bottom at 85p ish and moved strongly away from it. I don't know how the share price got as low as 85p but I'm thinking looking at the chart that a share price between 97.5p and 102.5p does not seem at all unreasonable. Regardless JLEN finally seems to have found some oomph. | ![]() cc2014
21/6/2024 13:45 | A nugget for us. Fund manager fees to be charged on NAV not "adjusted portfolio value" which I interpret to mean GAV. | ![]() cc2014
21/6/2024 11:45 | Some lumpy trades gone through the last few days. Cleary there is a difference of opinion regarding whether this is a buy or a sell. | ![]() cc2014
21/6/2024 09:20 | Results out Lots to like, record cash generation, robust future cash flows with the potential for capital growth 7.8p for this year gives a yield of 8.97% covered 1.3 times at today's buy price of 87p Anyone know of anything else generating around 9% or above with a coverage of 1.3x or above? 14/6/2024 13:44 | CC2014, Have done similar in small amounts, adding either side of XD. Thought results were good and the dividend raise is nice. So for now holding and hoping at some point interest rates come down and make the sector attractive again. | ![]() uapatel
14/6/2024 11:28 | In my mind, apart from all the geopolitical uncertainty and volatility, it comes down to one thing and one thing only, Interest rates, which continues to affect all sectors and markets in the UK and globally. | ![]() route1
14/6/2024 11:03 | The question is whether JLEN (and the sector) is turning here or it's just another DCB. Having said that I've been buying around 85.5p. Some before the dividend and some after. Having bought them and holding no idea whether this is the bottom or another DCB I further have no idea whether I should hold them or trade them out for a few points. | ![]() cc2014
14/6/2024 09:08 | Good to see that the Company confirmed its RFC with an additional "Accordion "facility available. Not sure what that is, but certainly looking forward to next Friday's earnings/results.GLA | ![]() route1
14/6/2024 07:45 | This gem just continues to drift lower! Yielding 9.2% now and an approx 25% discount to NAV. Results 21st June. | hugepants |
