03/11/2021 21:58 | How does that affect things? | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 21:55 | That's an interesting idea but quite a gamble. They don't exactly put small shareholders interests first? | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 20:49 | I suppose you don't have to sell. I remember Acertec delisting some years ago & eventually the company was bought out for a significantly higher price. | imnotspartacus
03/11/2021 19:30 | Just read the news, didn't see that in the charts! Devious gits, can't trust them as far as you can throw them, it's a common trait. | imnotspartacus
03/11/2021 19:25 | jkx is still subject to the Takeover Code. May be relevant to Eclairs strategy in the long term. | russman
03/11/2021 18:44 | Is the danger that one or more of the instituitonal shareholders sells and therefore the free float exceeds the amount that qualify for the tender offer...assuming they are sold to smaller buyers hoping to make a quick turn? | elsa7878
03/11/2021 17:02 | Big buys are Company or IIs mopping up low priced sales probably. | officerdigby
03/11/2021 16:56 | I discussed JKX with my partner earlier saying that the sooner I could get out of this one stock the better. I wasn't happy holding. I should of acted on instinct. One 250000 traded after hours by the way. | jaka
03/11/2021 16:54 | Oil business of Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov JKX announced plans to delist and buy back shares[18:00 03 November 2021]JKX Oil & Gas plc, with assets in Ukraine and Russia, has sent an offer to shareholders to delist from the main market of the London Stock Exchange and approve an agreement to repurchase about 23.3% of the shares in the tender offer at a price of 42 pence per share at a current price of about 44 pence."The directors reviewed the various advantages and disadvantages for the company and its shareholders in retaining the listing ... The directors unanimously believe that delisting is in the best interest of the company and its shareholders," JKX said in a statement.According to him, we are talking about the repurchase of 40 million 96,476 thousand shares, or 23.3% of the shares, while in free circulation there is 21.9% with a minimum requirement of 25%."The directors reviewed the company's strategy to ensure that it is in the best position to raise funds and enter into strategic deals to grow the business, as well as continue to meet its financial obligations and generate returns for shareholders," the release notes.According to him, the meeting is scheduled for November 23, the announcement of the tender offer - December 16, the expected last day of trading - January 5, 2022 and the closing of the tender offer the next day with the announcement of its results on January 10.In addition, on January 24, it is planned to re-register the company as a private limited company.???? | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 16:18 | I think the float is meant to be a certain size and insiders didn't want to give up their shares at these prices. Unfortunately I think the insiders will be doing best on this one given future prospects for the company. I'm sorry for those who bought in in the 50s though | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 16:14 | Well I suppose the argument of the previous management was Kolomisky would try doing this to the disadvantage of small shareholders, but it seems his lot took over anyway. Shame to end this way as I had hopes for this going up some way. | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 16:10 | Something about the number of shares in the tender offer not being covered by those in public hands?? That's one reason explained for the off loading. Could the stock be suspended?? | jaka
03/11/2021 15:57 | Researccentre123 - I'd like to think they will buy from small shareholders at 42p but nothing seems definite. The management have shown their colours (a legal procedure perhaps but we all know as crooked as hell) and I'm happy to be out at 37p. | hoper2
03/11/2021 15:53 | Well clearly is an arbitrage opportunity but think everyone is in shock. | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 15:50 | Denzill - people in shock - running for the doors IMO. | officerdigby
03/11/2021 15:48 | Kissing lol?? | denziiil
03/11/2021 15:47 | Anyone explain to me why this isn't a buy at 37p given 42p offer on the table? Clearly kissing something. | denziiil
03/11/2021 15:47 | Well the theory is they will buy them off you at 42p but not sure how that works. | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 15:47 | You can still accept offer at 42p in a few weeks. After the GM and the offer passed. The offer would come through to your account. (it happened to ENW (as RPT) in 2012) But only a % was bought from free float. | officerdigby
03/11/2021 15:45 | I cant get a quote to sell any shares stitched up like a kipper timings been out with this one 10k down | mick1909
03/11/2021 15:43 | So I can get the to buy my shares now at 42p? Anyone any idea how that would take place etc? | researchcentre123
03/11/2021 15:41 | Out at 37p - good profit made, very disappointed with the management, but can't say I'm totally surprised. Time to move on. | hoper2
03/11/2021 15:19 | OMG Delisting? Stealing punters wealth, when it's booming. Reasons for the Delisting The Directors have considered the strategy for the Company to ensure that it is in the best position to be able to raise funds and enter into strategic transactions to develop the business whilst also ensuring the Company continues to meet its financial commitments and yields a return for Shareholders.
