24/5/2012 13:42 | Staggering share price performance. What is it doing down at pre-2008 levels and lower ? Not the only oil exploration company battered into oblivion. But most of those are not producing. Stupefying. | bobsidian

16/5/2012 12:41 | Helpful £18000 share purchase by NED BoD member Nigel Moore, first of many at these levels I suspect: | acta_topup
16/5/2012 08:52 | These levels ARE ridiculous, especially as they are significantly ramping up production this quarter, but I guess look at the markets at the moment. And LAM - unbelievable really | acta_topup
15/5/2012 16:42 | JKX Oil & Gas (LON:JKX, 120p, ▲ 6%) jumped 6% to 120p during early trading after the company said it has started delivering gas from its Koshekhablskoye field in southern Russia and will now focus on the next stage of development on the field. The company also said it has been awarded the Giorgievskoye exploration license immediately south of the Koshekhablskoye production license. The company noted that a significant part of Giorgievskoye also runs to the northwest of the Koshekhablskoye field and covers its east and west flanks. It said that mapping and reserves determinations have indicated that most of the oil reserves in the new license area will be recoverable through the existing wells on the Koshekhablskoye field. It also noted that further drilling on the new license could yield another 170 billion to 270 billion cubic feet of gas. Read more: | acta_topup
15/5/2012 15:07 | JKX (JKX LN, 119p, ▲ 5%) - Increasing Exposure: Today's news that JKX has commenced production at Koshekhablskoye makes the start of the next phase of development within the Company, and earns management significant kudos; its outlined its plans and delivered against them. Furthermore, the fact that JKX has secured the Giorgievskoye exploration licence, adjacent to its existing Koshekhablskoye production licence, further evidence of the steps that management is taking to rehabilitate the Company's battered image, as it raises the prospect that not only will further reserves be added to the current reserves base, but that once delineated, they will be monetised, all of it quickly. 15/5/2012 14:48 | JKX wins Adygea license 15/05/2012 Ben Jaglom Russia-focused JKX Oil & Gas (JKX) has won an exploration license for the republic of Adygea in Southern Russia. The FTSE Small Cap constituent declared that its Russian subsidiary YGE had won the Giorgievskoye exploration license for the republic, in an area 1707 square kilometres in size. JKX notes that a 2007 3D seismic survey of a field already covered by its existing Koshekhablskoye license discovered that part of its Koskekhablskoye filed lay outside the license area. The Giorgevskoye license should help it to secure the whole of the mapped area. The company adds that while most of its proven and probable reserves will be recoverable through its existing wells, a further 30 to 90 billion cubic feet of gas reserves could be recovered through drilling. Consensus forecasts for JKX are of pre-tax profits of £69.7 million on sales of £169.2 million for the year to December. A low-risk oil and gas play by sector standards, JKX is one of the stronger Western companies operating in Russia. The deal to extend its license should soothe investor nerves over Koskekhablskoye. 30/4/2012 17:45 | Yep, that sums it up nicely Peter27. Along with the new Ukrainian tax regime it all caused a fall and an exiting from the FTSE 250. With no yields Small Caps have no institutional support by default. | jaka
30/4/2012 15:24 | The dividend has been stopped, the long term finance director decided to seek pastures new and the optimism of the directors has let shareholders down several times with many delays to promised production. As a result I sold my shares although I continue to keep an eye on the account. | peter27
30/4/2012 13:51 | what has happened to the share price here , i was invested here a few years ago at about £3.30, has there been a consolidation or is there another reason, thx in advance . 81. | charlie81 |
