18/6/2024 06:50 | PCOK - register at research tree (no cost =) and you will be able to see it. The main points are explanation of the Labour plans for the EPL, in 3 parts. They say... 1) The labour party has said they will extend the EPL to the end of the next Parliament. Well it is already to end of March 2029 so extension to July 2029. This is a minor change. 2) Tax Rate increase to 78% (from 75%) by increase of EPL to 38% from 35%. 3) The most important bit .... Labour have apparently clarified and said that they will remove the "Investment Allowances" - This is only one aspect of the Tax relief that is allowable on developments. Zeus have calculated that this will reduce the tax relief from 91p to 84p - not the end of the world. They conclude that if these changes are as far as they go then Buchan will go ahead but it may take a while to confirm that this is the extent of Labour meddling. | thedudie

16/6/2024 06:15 | Lmfao it doesn't look good what a surprise. Overhyped pos. It's definitely turned into the new trap after all. Just glad those that hyped this up have been been stung. Let's see how long before the partners walk away and it's left in limbo for at least a decade | bones698

14/6/2024 12:40 | Anyone shorting these will be in heaven! | targatarga
14/6/2024 12:40 | This is in free fall. I honestly think there is too much economic value in buchan for it to go to the wall. Even for oil hating party. This price could be absolute bargain of the century | aimloser1
14/6/2024 10:42 | Their was a recent notification from JOG that its partners are awaiting clarity on the fiscal regime for O&G per the new Government prior to proceeding to FID!!! Labour manifesto published yesterday was onerous in relation to UK's O&G sector and increased the probability that JOG's partners Neo Energy and Serica might back out. SQZ I would think backs out as it has a new CEO starting in July who didn't onboard the deal. Prior full time CEO Mitch Flegg was a UK focused CEO - and didn't look favorably on deals that might require travel and disrupt his golf routine!!! bubloo13 Jun '24 - 22:23 - 5332 of 5333 0 0 0 Can the more learned investors here please let me know if Jersey needs a licence to explore. I was under the impression they already have a licence and Labour's manifesto mentions it will honour previous licences. so what is the reason, release of labour's manifesto has caused such a drop in share price. I have a very small position and could not figure out the reason for today's drop. I'am being daft here thx for any help | ashkv
14/6/2024 09:41 | The UK is going to make a complete and utter hash of the transition where cheap low scope 1 emission gas is the answer for UK Plc during the transition keeping the infrastructure for greener gases later. Utter suicide and despicable incompetence imposing high taxes to prevent commercial exploitation of the country's sole jewel.... the North Sea. Did hold here for a long time once. | mariopeter

13/6/2024 15:49 | Never fear ol' tubby aka Malcy is showing a £10 target for JOG on his sh!t list blog. You couldnae make it up. | hsfinch
13/6/2024 15:47 | But sunak and co went along with it. On fact May enshrined net zero in law. | hsfinch
13/6/2024 15:12 | Labour also Bringing back the “no petrol cars after 2030 policy” is another nail in the coffin here. Sunak had pushed it back to 2035. Just about everything that can go wrong has gone wrong here. | francoismyname
13/6/2024 13:47 | Project was never going to happen Just another stranded asset now Finito, the end JOG directors will look to Asia if they have any money or sense left Aberdeen is finished | chutes01

13/6/2024 13:38 | "Phased and responsible transition" is completely different to "no new licenses". There still may be wiggle room for JOG here. Time will tell. | pcok
