Rockflow and Slumber paid to provide production volume estimate. Standard. Petrofac do basic platform design.

can we go back to facts. nobody locks up capital if not goign to make $ in all scenarios. RockFLOW show as little as 58 possible. Lets assume 60 for exmaple. 4 bllion revenue depsnign on price over decades. Can we now talk about cost?

Not at all never have done as they clearly have their motives and apart from that don't forget their 50 years of knowledge between them all in the oil and gas sectorAbsolutely bizarre if they actually think that we take notice of the nonsense they spout

Yet another article this morning about about Peak oil demand coming and a lack of supply coming on stream, this time from the Telegraph. Goldman Sachs estimates that 9/10m barrels a day of future supply have vanished and that in normal times a swing of just 1m b/d can flip the market from slump to price spike. Supply from non Opec producers continues to fall.

No wonder our CEO is positive about the future. In the meantime I assume our big buyer has returned and his trades will be published at the end of the day. Or have MMs realised that future demand means the JOG project will be much sought after and that the current price level is absurdly low?

I said it before and i will say it again. So these few muppets know better than Rockhopper, Schlumberger and Petrofac and another few global oil specialists plus over 60 years of experience of the Management Team that got their own money invested what is going on in the GBA, oh and aorry I forgot the OGA backing up the whe thing but for them they are equally unimportant. Is anyone seriously believing anything of their drivel? Follow the history of their posts, when they started and what they said and what happened if you listened to any of their advise? That's right you would have lost money! These know it alls are just slugs climbing out from underneath rocks...for over 3 1/2 years I have been observing this and it never stops, just hope people can see right through them!

Alright Bones let's say they sell over the life of the project only 100mmbo at an average price of only $50 a barrel so project income is $5bill.

Not at all. The field was shut in producing oil like any other field in world history that’s been shut in that’s not in denial. Every single abandoned field has more technically recoverable oil. Facility happened to fall over here but that does not correlate to whether the remaining reserves are significant. Catching mice im actually in agreement with the honest team working this it’s the puppet masters paying for it that are the issue. So everybody is aligned with jersey rockflow and alumberger that this field may well yield less than 100 million barrels? one thing at a time otherwise we’ll never get you to a rational conclusion that every other E&P has gotten to and then you can stop lining the pockets.

Jls/Bones

I detect a softening of your opinion as before JOG were getting nothing out now you seem to agree that maybe they could get out just under 100mmbo. What changed?

No one knows what this share will do in the next year, two or three years. It's good to here both for and against.
Don't really get the child like tone of some comments. Why not try being more civil to other views, everyone ?

Catching mice. Say “it is an indisputable truth that jersey present a wide range of views and in all commercially recoverable cases the buchan area recovers less that one hundred million barrels”. Go on say it. Dares ya.

Its way overvalued at £51 million with less than £5 million at the bank .Folk are getting sucked in here into a rising share price i wonder how long it will be before another one of the institutional holders starts selling down their holdings !

Thanks. It does descend pretty fast into poor arguments when any opposing views are made and when facts are presented they are generally ignored if they don’t fit the echo chamber view.

Jersey CPR makes it quite clear that recovery from buchan area may be under 100 million barrels. I would like someone pro jersey to acknowledge that fact.

No. But I know one that plans to recover loads of oil still in place from a field that had to be abandoned because the platform wasn't safe.

Anyone know the name of the quoted Company who specialise in recovering oil from allegedly depleted fields and making a lot of money at it? Struggling to find them.
