Yes... but I view it as transitory. I'm keeping an eye on Nike. Down over six percent Friday. I'd be a buyer on any further weakness and if the same happens here at JDS .,,, I may use it as a topping up opportunity.

Share price storms through my price target of eleven pounds 3 months earlier than expected. No interim dividend proposed with potentially larger full year payout subject to performance of the group and taking into the account the potential of any restrictions on trading. Who's holding here and what's holders views ? Do we stay at this level ? Everything hinging on the continued reopening of the economy and stumbling blocks are in everyone's mind... covid. I'm tempted to stay put. If I could find something else to invest in I might cash out.

From the Times today: One of Britain’s biggest individual taxpayers has moved his family’s Pentland Group offshore, citing the “significant challenges presented by Brexit”.

The company, the largest shareholder in JD Sports and the owner of clothing brands including Speedo and Berghaus, revealed in its annual report that it had created a new holding company that meant its ultimate parent is registered in Jersey and is resident for tax purposes in the Republic of Ireland.

I have taken a position in Nike this afternoon. Missed the 17% rise as bought after the opening bell. However, Bloomberg reporting there could be 50% upside over the next year.

Thanks for that. I wish i'd bought more at £4 something I think it was. Shouldn’t be gready as been in and out of these a couple of times and doubled my money in a relatively short space of time.

Done ok on these, good to see them shifting operations opening new warehousing in EU to avoid the brexit fiasco on logistics, CEO has acted quickly unlike most U.K. retailers sleepwalking their companies and shareholders into oblivion. Just reading on Bloomberg, Amsterdam, one tenth size of London now clearing more Euro shares than London, things moving quickly.

96 days ago I posted that JD Sports shares would hover around the £10 mark by 2021 year end.Over the past three years, I've been in and out of this share buying back in think last June . I've doubled my profit and I now agree with 13 analysts reported in the FT who as recently as this month have a 12 month price median target for JD Sports Fashion PLC of £ 975.00, with a high estimate of 1,100.00 and a low estimate of 800.00. The median estimate represents a 6.32% increase from the last price of 917.00. Personally I'm revising my price target at this year north of £11.00. Very strong desirable brand with a lot of pent up demand being unleashed now we are out of lock down. Happy investing.
