Hi Jody,
You say it so much better than me, but then most posters do hahaha but it doesn't stop me :-)

I'm still holding and to my foolishness I haven't stopped the DRIP. I have zero confidence in Grant and the nodding head BoD - but I live in hope on conclusion of this disaster, Grant will sell Jarvis and we as shareholders can hope of better days with a better company.

Hi steelwatch,
Yes I read that but notice the cavity 'expected' so with this investigation take nothing as ...

Hopefully this self made disaster does end in Q4 ! That could be a 27 month investigation into this two bit broker. How did Jarvis become so rotten for the special person to take so long and ask Jarvis to review so much ?.

And still Grant has not had the decency to say sorry.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a bit about my recent decision to sell my holdings in JIM. Frankly, I've grown a bit bored with the ongoing investigation and the lack of concrete information from the company. It’s been quite some time since the issues started, and without any clear communication or reassurance about their status, my confidence has dwindled.

I understand that investigations can take time and that companies often have to navigate complex situations, but as an investor, I need to feel secure about my investments. The uncertainty surrounding JIM has left me feeling uneasy, and rather than wait around for news that may or may not come, I thought it best to move on to opportunities that provide more clarity and potential for growth.

Curious to hear if others share similar sentiments or if anyone has more insight into the situation. Have you decided to hold or sell?

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Jody

Morning bmcollins,
At least you registered your concerns / complaint. There isn't much they can say while the investigation is ongoing ... I guess, but at least you tried.

I followed the FCA advice and sent Jarvis another email asking if the company was happy enough with the then report being three months late ! Or are they being proactive and chasing for its release ?. As with this lot, my email didn't get a reply.

Regards.

The latest position was:

"Phase 2, which requires the Skilled Person to review the remediation work undertaken by JIML on the matters raised in any of the three s.166 reports, has now commenced and is expected to be completed by Q4 2024. As part of this work the Skilled Person will also be required to provide a Reasonable Assurance Opinion to the FCA (confirming the Skilled Person is confident as to the completeness of the remediation) along with any final recommendations"

So, hopefully, all might be cleared up by Xmas.

@steel
The BOE link was to the FCA in fact, a waste of time all round, sad to say.

I don't think the BOE can help. Try the FCA:

For the record I emailed both Grant (2023) & Price, ("head of finance"), this year about this and received the usual brush off's.
BOE as well but all they did was send me a complaint form link, pretty poor show all around.

As ever thug, you try and spin a two year investigation into management mistakes at Jarvis and the millions of pounds we will be paying the 'special person's for their work for their review of said mistakes like we expect the lights to go on at a flick of a switch. We pay for the electric and complain when the lights don't go on. As Jarvis shareholders we are paying Grant and the board to do their jobs, and yet it's only me who seems to complain here and in emails to Jarvis and the FCA..... !.

The board blackened themselves when they failed to spot wrongdoing. But a two dit broker as well.

Let s hope the silence about a replacement for Grant indicates Jarvis have had behind the scenes contact from a prospective buyer ! I can only hope :-/

Not just an investigation. It's an off boarding of clients. These days many people seem to lack the understnding of due process and workloads. Everything done at the flick of a switch. Whether its speaking to the HMRC, controlling inflation, BOE setting interest rates, or simply having an email responded to. Or even electricity being always available whatever the weather.

A very interesting piece you linked us to on youtube.
Thank goodness AIM must be a drop in the ocean to them & just not worth worrying about to these Muscovites !

You aren't the first to blacken the name of the company's management BM. Was your apology directed in their direction. I watched a video about industrial scale insider trading by hacking the agents who post announcements from companies at 7am daily. The companies don't, it seems put the alarm clock on for 6.45 and type it in but give it to an agent to look after a couple of days before and they post it. Logging in to read these posts beforehand has happened on a large scale and might be the reason behind the sudden moving of the FCA's goalposts. Russia, China, North Korea are all at it and we are maybe deliberately kept in the dark to maintain confidence in the system.

Many thanks for your clarification & my apologies for posting some misinformation inadvertently.
It actually was not the easiest of TR's to decipher & sadly I came to what was the wrong answer !

Stockopedia show total 44731000 shares in issue.
I've added the three direct ownerships transferred from FEG and they total 5257754.
FEG's original holding is shown as 6.3M and according to the notice now equals 2.4% or 1073544. Add this to the above and the result is 6331298 which is in the right ballpark allowing for rounding off to 2 decimal places of percentages. I'm happy with that and all that has happened is transfer of ownership prior to whatever mayhem the budget unleashes. The four execs indirectly holding the same 1001478 is perhaps causing confusion.

I've added a link to INVESTEGATE at the foot of the above header which may assist in looking back at company announcements. Quicker and clearer than advfn's version. Useful when looking back at previous Holdings announcements for instance.

Hi, I'm busy right now, taking advantage of the good weather to fix the roof on the garden shed. I'll check the figures when I have time, but I'm pretty sure no one has sold.

Thanks for querying this but I couldn't add up the shares from the estate to make them equal the reduction in voting for Matthew Grant, what have I missed ?
