I've filtered Dave and friends, so don't have to waste my life on the unfolding drama.

Bought a couple of thousand Arrow, a bit late in on the recent climb, bought at about 93p. But then again, traded up near 5 quid a few years ago and near 3 quid a few months ago.
Last year's divi is about 15% of my buy price.

I agree Poikka, ITV are undervalued, any pick up in earnings will re rate the ITV share price. Going forward to next summer with the football Euros should give a boost to advertising. The world health organisation said that they expect the coronavirus to last less than 2 years, so next year we should see some light at the end of the tunnel.

I completely agree, b/cheek you could have our interests at heart,
but we have to make our own minds up and decisions. You would
help more if you help us make money here.

A good thread here, lets all work together to help each other
babycheek included.

Emailed IR asking to confirm major shareholders, guess they will confirm Liberty still hold 9.9%.

This is priced ridiculously low, and really only represents a worst possible case scenario. A return to last year's earnings would mean that it'd be trading at a Mcap of only 4 x PTP.

This is ideally placed to be taken over, and if it doesn't it still represents great value for divi seekers, a year out.

I reckon it'll be at 120p within 12 months, without a takeover.

Still, that's just me.

Buying and selling (saving or investing) its a bit like plato's cave analogy - we just dont know - we guess.

BT is LONG for me because in Brucies "PLay Your Cards Right" (BBC - probably on BritBox somewhere) it was nearly always right to say HIGHER if the card was a 7 or lower....

SI: I'm not as fine grain in my buying as you (I should aim to be). I buy the dips when I'm confident of making money but I do acknowledge I could improve my buying and selling points ...

oh I see. Yes agree with your statement.I would hold fire with further buys here as the trend is still pointing down with 60 still being a distinct possibility.Medium to long term with revs increasing this could easily get back to the 150s imo

ScepticalInvestor: I have no idea if BB is a good way to pick shares. Do you know their "success" rate? I'm guessing its probably just over 50:50 - but just a guess.
For me I love Britbox and the fact that ITV is at a historic low point. Its a double whammy buy signal for me... Along side coming out of covid and TV PRODUCTION is coming back on stream...

Its a perfect storm of buy signals. Whats not to like?

I got some more. I think the market has turned LONG (as British Bulls thinks)..
Its a sort of buy on weakness time for me.
I've really been enjoying Britbox - makes a refreshing change from Netflix and AmazonPrime nonsense.

However, if a deal does surface, then that will spike the market, then November, post US election, whatever the outcome, that will spike again I reckon.
This is more likely the case, compromise usually found re EU talks.

Brexit is a thing that can cause another market wide dip in october, if no agreement, it needs to be sorted by then to get ratification. Both sides know that so currently playing hard ball.
