MatthewR, I'm sad you child! I am the alias of no other person, I have visited and posted on these threads for years and your weird post made me laugh, who quotes hedge fund managers unless they crave attention. I commented and your response is to have a hissy fit and make childish accusations.
I care not if you are an ex trader, ex banker, ex hedge fund guy or that you are likely just another investor who lives in your own little world.

And remember guys, Matthew couldn't understand why the dividend paid out remained at 1.7p, he said the buyback should have made it higher. He also didn't know how to find the daily volume. Well, today it was 1,365,996 pal. Lol what a 🤡!!

A small buy back today but on a shortened day quite acceptable. Time to relax and look forward to a more promising 2025. IAG (British Airways) was my big gainer so patience can be rewarded. |
 Laugh of the week!
I had lunch on Friday in the city with a few old colleagues and clients of mine. One of them has a not insignificant midcap hedge fund. I told him I was long ITV and he laughed and said they’d been shorting it last week. I asked why and he said purely that they hate the UK (economy).
MattherR, so you told your Hedge Fund mate 'oh I am long ITV' then he laughed and said 'oh I have been shorting it all week'....is this an average brains trust conflab between two professional self styled Market Wizards. I think you have given us all a good laugh with your tall tales. I am still laughing at why so many on this thread exposed you as a fraud ages ago lol.. The City teaboy and his Hedge Fund buddy laughing their way to ITV's unlocked treasures!
As for this Hedge Fund guy who sticks a pin on ITV to short, it moves like tortoise up a bit and down a bit. Still thanks for the humour, so many will be astounded at how the Pro's discuss their investments. Oh Warren laughed and said he'd been shorting and I laughed and said I had been long and then we tucked into our Chicken McNuggets ha hah ha!!!

Matthew - interesting and not unexpected from a fund.
It’s also why I think there is huge potential here - as this simplistic view of ITV creates opportunity for those who dig a bit deeper. |
