Most of the 3 100X MW ordered we know about, may have been taken on favourable terms to Linde, yet they were a lifeline to defray overheads whilst ITM was tuning its automated manufacturing and perfecting the components .. The forecast does not isolate the cost of such subsidy

In a few years time we may look back on this period and be thankful that ITM had its, 'actually this is all a lot harder than it's looks' episode:

1) earlier than our competitors
2) before we had spent a ton of money building manufacturing capacity (that we don't have orders for) around the planet
3) while we had loads of cash in the bank
4) while we had a 'concerned and responsible parent' (Linde) with the people and faith in ITM to have us climb out of the hole previous managers dug us into.
