I'm the only one here who isn't emotional.

Profits always accrue to insiders first. I doubt whether Linde cares much what happens to ITM as long as they can extract whatever they need, which so long as they're running it, they can.

We'll see.

...and what do you actually mean, anyway?

As far as I'm aware, they both have the ILE JV (50:50) - ITM sell electrolysers directly to Linde and also through ILE (XL - XXL).

Are you suggesting that from now on Linde will be expecting all electrolysers to be sold to them at a cost to ITM, so that they can benefit financially, until ITM is dead?

How would this work out for Linde in the long run?

Make it make sense for me.

A lot of their profit stems from their reputation.

I suspect most of the cost will accrue to ITM and the profit to Linde. Easy with their man in charge.

Wow has he only just realised that the UK switch off wind turbines at night due to production of too much electricity.

How long before we are paying Nuclear plants to reduce output I wonder.

That’s my point Linde are world leaders in Hydrogen production and I’m sure have plenty of projects in the pipeline. If ITM can produce 200mw for Lingen project via Linde engineering why do they have a problem producing 100mw for shell.

They have to play this very straight.

Manipulating sales, and therefore profits, to benefit one shareholder at the expense of all others is highly illegal.

The reputational damage to Linde would be catastrophic - especially as they have just shifted their listing to the US stock exchange who do not take that stuff lightly.

No way that is going to happen.

If they want it all they will have to buy it, and that would take consideration of the £4.00 price at the last raise.

Linde are going to be very very busy building huge plant across the globe for decades out.

Their primary concern here is to be certain of a dependable source of high quality, high performance kit that has a solid technology platform that offers a credible and long term development path.

How much is that worth? A lot more than making a fast few quid at the expense of a huge reputational sh*tshow.

Personally think Dennis has been instructed to only supply Linde.
That’s fine as long as they pay the correct price and not discounted.
