16/1/2023 16:50 | If we mis quoted low how the hell didn't we get a shed load of orders in the pipe... That would have been delayed but like plug it gets you started and into big revenue growth. It's as if sales force didn't exist. I think at one stage there was thst many enquiries Cooley thought we need bigger and the sales force thought they will come to us ... | moontheloon
16/1/2023 16:34 | Imo I can see an enquiry incoming You just cannot grab 400m claiming u need a new building to cope with demand and then neither happens. Myself if I was involved in the fire sale a yr or so back I’d not be sleeping What was probably good tech got swallowed up with a bunch of tramps glueing themselves to roads etc Said at time distance yourself say it’s clean it’s nice not a political tool for the woke Woke is finished As for Dennis the menace just part of the plan to reduce this to 10p On EV don’t fall fir the lies about buys it’s fleet time Buy a Ferrari better for the planet | 5barney
16/1/2023 16:26 | FT headline isn't wrong. Profits are not the issue, it's the fact they gambled on new versions of the stack that didnt work. They should have stuck with the stack technology that is working so well for Shell, use Linde synergies to drive the cost reductions and only bring in next generation changes cautiously when they are certain its ready. If that means higher levelised costs for now then so be it. It sounds like they bet the house on a product that wasn't ready and priced it on the best case scenario. The question now is, once they re-calibrate the product and set sensible prices, how competitive will we be? I still believe in the ILE partnership having unique value but I think the market will now take a wait and see approach and will need to see a period of sustained execution and progress before putting any value on future earnings. As Norbus says though, there are positive messages and the core elements (technology, factory, Linde) remain strong. More and more projects will progress to FID stage as governments roll out support schemes and hydrogen strategies so it is certainly not too late. That said, there is no denying that the healthy lead we had had been squandered and we will have to work harder to take our seat at the top table as a result of the mistakes made. | clabburn
16/1/2023 16:22 | Do you think it will rise from 80P ? | arab3
16/1/2023 16:19 | Maybe he will have to wait till after update and maybe a lower price ... | moontheloon
16/1/2023 16:16 | Will the new CEO add any shares to his total for some confidence ? | theclaw
16/1/2023 16:10 | Welcome to our first visitor from St Lucia - I bet its a bit warmer there today! | skinny
16/1/2023 16:00 | So, this seems to be the 3rd profit warning ... have decided to take a punt as I like the technology. Shareprice didn't drop that much on this RNS - though not sure if this is because people are seeing value or if its mainly shorts closing. | kimchi1
16/1/2023 15:59 | Last time they said lower end of guidance so do we take this as now as lower than low end so out of forecast bracket entirely. Materially phrase bit ambiguous could mean anything but not in the good frame | moontheloon
16/1/2023 15:52 | Will buy in at 80p | baldrick1
16/1/2023 15:11 | I think NEL set of accounts will be interesting bearing in mind how much lower their price per MW is compared to ITM. | grahamwales
16/1/2023 15:09 | Didn’t you get your buy in price pmsl. | grahamwales
16/1/2023 15:03 | well this has held up better than ai thought it would. - shows me good support although it's possible a short term spike down will happen later in the week | wall street trader
16/1/2023 14:55 | I posted this back in November - "owenski - 08 Nov 2022 - 08:29:11 - 23076 of 26375 A poorly executed business that seems confused, lost it's way and the valuation comes mostly from a cash pile that is diminishing. I said often 80p was fair value, but that's being generous, more like 60 - 70p" Spot on. | owenski
16/1/2023 14:48 | FT headline states, Hydrogen equipment maker ITM Power issues third profit warning in 8 months | bjfanc
16/1/2023 14:35 | Well all the Ned's have contributed sweet football association. Be a nice cost saving. Hope Shultz isn't on a salary in the few millions | moontheloon
16/1/2023 14:33 | With any luck he will bring some of his engineering guys with him to sort the mess out. Can’t see them getting rid of CFO before accounts but hopefully not long after he will be gone. Just the chairman and any deadwood non executives to get shot of then. Just as well have a clear out. | grahamwales
16/1/2023 14:21 | Waxing lyrical! Dennis is there to make what Linde saw in the hand in glove synergy happen. He sounds up to the challenge if not indeed relishing it as his test to get to the very top. | norbus
16/1/2023 14:19 | My guess is that back in 2014/15, when the CFO walked pretty abruptly. Internal candidate took it but never challenged. | bjfanc
16/1/2023 14:06 | Looking forward to a hard nosed practical and realistic new CEO to take the company forward, every new CEO kitchen sinks his first set of figures and provides for worst case scenario. | seagreen
16/1/2023 14:05 | Car crash, green stock bubble garbage having a further reality check and crashing down to earth. Are the same bellends still ramping this to death. | owenski
16/1/2023 14:02 | The CEO's statement says it all for me. Dennis Schulz, CEO, said: "This is the challenge I was expecting when I joined ITM. For the Company to develop from an R&D and prototyping entity, to a mature delivery organisation, we require firmer foundations." We require firmer foundations - Cooley led us to believe we were standing on solid ground. And continued to pretend while we were sinking into the sand. I'll be happy to see the back of GC, AA and who ever is meant to be watching them. I regret singing Cooley's praises. 'Serial production has begun' - wtf was that? ..of what? Product that will be written down? Why didn't he sell any? Pride, greed, or shame - either way, he lied and my pension nearly died. "Our 12-month plan will make ITM a stronger, more focused and highly capable company. The large-scale opportunities in the market are yet to come, and by putting these foundations in place ITM will be ready for the significant market demand ahead of us." So.... in other words... The Best is Yet to Come? Well of course it is - the man and his nodding dog cannot stop what is coming. I look forward to our future. | gimmethefax
