There are far more rare commodities than copper in batteries and prices will rocket if they can extract enough that is. Hence the reason why Fortescue is concentrating on Hydrogen.

Mel before I shorted the dog I had about £75k worth around 400 lol
Without doubt the worst investment. My brother took one look pointed out things in the updates. Then found out about delays at leuna problems at refhyne etc etc I took the trouble to post this months before it came out I was ripped to pieces n laughed at. Well they’re not laughing now r they
I then shorted down to 300 then again 250 to 190 n also at 150
I went from 75down to 30 up So I’ve bought just a few in case they go up But I’m not confident at all
The simple ? Is where did all those orders and almost go to

If we rely more on hydrogen gas for fuel, produced in large quantities at large elctrolyser plants, rather than using batteries and direct electrification for everything, then wouldn't the nation require much less copper, in order to reach muh climate targets?

Doesn't using the existing gas infrastructure, which is incredible, for hydrogen and hydrogen-blended nat-gas sound so much better than new wires, heat pumps, and copper copper everywhwere?

These losers seem to forget it’s all about making money .
They get … carried away by a moonlight shadow … basically they become too attached and cannot sell when every signal tells them to sell .

NORBUS - thanks interesting video, seems H2O is the only way to go assuming there is sufficient copper for the electricity grid and end uses! Seems maybe copper is the the missing ingredient in the so called net zero. Just think how much copper is in the motors of all the ev's - heard it said an ev uses 4* the copper in an ICE and all electric stuff uses copper.
