all sells are sells and all buys are buys, not the buy/sell allocated by market,the reasons behind the sells and the buys remain a mystery until all is revealed, I guess u don't need to look no further than the oil price.
That's why most big trades are delayed by the market or disguised into lots of small trades.

How often does that happen? Not a lot that I've seen. And as we all know constant small sells tend to have a disproportionate impact on the share price compared with similar buys.

FWIW Bp and Shell are down a fraction today so far. Premier and Tullow up 2%.

10% increase in price of Brent from from 50 to 55 gives 21.7% increase in netback to Ithaca, based on current operating costs of 23 USD/bb.

Looking at the ADVFN toplist, every oil company that made gains yesterday is falling back today. No-one sticks around for long term benefits now. Too much in and out day trading.

Oil and Ithaca both fallen back a bit on technicals. Oil hit resistance, Ithaca too overbought to go through $1.50 CAD yesterday after rising sharply from 75p.

Waiting for jobs report today. But rally should recover its legs soon imo. Oil shorts will want to close and new production from Stella now worth that bit more.
