08/2/2024 10:48 | Interesting 2 year old article, but very dense reading. I have speculated in the past whether itaconic acid could have agricultural applications. Turns out it can, assisting water retention, and thus helping plants in dry regions. Perhaps the 'super absorbents' we read about have more applications than just hygiene? If ITX got a patent on a global 'fertilizer' type product, then the valuation would rocket. ' | lefrene
06/2/2024 10:10 | Are they back from the ski slopes yet? High time the market got an update. | lefrene
03/2/2024 20:15 | They only covered it with the share price falling! They are now out of their depth. Delighted to see it rising now. Good stuff. | purchaseatthetop
03/2/2024 20:12 | I see Edison announced yesterday they have stopped coverage of Itaconix. | geraldus
01/2/2024 11:28 | Recovery continues :) | parob
29/1/2024 17:44 | When we eventually get some sort of update, it would be encouraging to see if the company is picking up momentum towards breaking into profit earlier than projected by the pundits. Something to get the attention of USA investors, and perhaps the beancounters of any prospective buy out merchants. | lefrene
15/1/2024 15:08 | Parob, the positives for this business are as long as your arm. They've finally got to the point where they don't have to pass the hat around anymore. 'Sticky' clients. decent and improving margins, on a steady growth line, and USA centric, with a truck load of patents. They just need to come to the attention of a wider investment audience, and perhaps find a name other than 'polymers' for their product. | lefrene
14/1/2024 10:48 | Last placing for £10M+ was at 5.1p back in Feb 2023.Share price now, since the consolidation, is equivalent to less than half that price at 2.5p.Hopefully we see the recovery picking up some momentum this coming week as we see a delayed reaction to the recent Dec trading update."Gross profit margins have improved, supported by higher volumes from smaller accounts and beauty products. The Company anticipates that these favorable gross profit margins will continue into FY2024, aided by reductions in raw material and production costs. The Company expects volumes to continue to grow, with more competitive pricing to customers in FY2024. As a result, revenue expectations are revised to $9.5m or more for FY2024 and $12.5m or more for FY2025, with no change to earnings expectations." | parob
13/1/2024 09:52 | Contributed by AJP08 in another place. Mr Shaw with a very positive interview. Worth watching. | lefrene
12/1/2024 17:14 | What only 20p - you must be joking -I thought at least a pound! | gurunostradamus
12/1/2024 12:48 | Well some one is buying a few today, it's put on tuppence! Perhaps news next week, the heroes will be back from the ski slopes soon. This has always been in need of something that catches the imagination of potential investors, but the way the economy is looking, a dull boring supplier of an essential ingredient that goes into essential products, might be seen as safe, plus with decent growth prospects. I'd buy more if I had spare dosh. To my mind it looks a steady basic ingredient manufacturer, and due to the 'green' element, a potential target for a big hitter to snap up. £10 would do lol :¬) | lefrene
12/1/2024 11:31 | Plenty of small caps have made recoveries over the past few months whilst this hasn't really moved.Perhaps this is next. | parob
03/1/2024 12:24 | Perhaps by then ITX might have released some info that indicates quicker growth than the market currently expects? At least Mr Shaw has done some useful work on his presentation skills. Well done that man! | lefrene

22/12/2023 12:01 | Against my better judgement, I've just added another 1,750 at £1.20. Let's hope it's not good money after bad.... I still need something stupid like £4 a share to break even 🙄 | dexdringle
22/12/2023 11:26 | Definitely looks to have bottomed. From this market cap, and considering how much cash they have in the bank from the last placing, this could be a star performer of 2024. | parob
21/12/2023 17:58 | Thank you for the link Leoboy, good to hear Mr Shaw once again speaking clearly and coherently. Getting into actual real profit would be a good first step to get noticed by the markets. In the meantime it's a sitting duck for one of the big bullies looking for a 'green' arm to their operations. A turn key operation for chump change. | lefrene
21/12/2023 15:07 | Good to see some probing questions being asked.I sincerely hope next year is actually the year for real commercial progress with SAP's and not to be pushed back farther into 2025 as was stated as being a possibility. | geraldus
21/12/2023 13:08 | john shaw latest this am : | leoboy
21/12/2023 12:40 | Buying.Bottom in hopefully. | parob
18/12/2023 10:51 | I see there have been regulations to restrict phosphates in domestic detergents and dishwasher tablets since 2012! But the agri-chemical industry continues to sell 34 million tonnes of their product across Europe each year, scaring the Brussels commission takers from daring to interfere. That explains the ITX focus on domestic products. I guess it's just going to be a long haul as norms gradually change, unless there's a high margin niche product that can be cornered. Perhaps 'absorbents' will turn out to be that niche? In the meantime provided steady progress continues, this should become a steadily growing basic industry type of business. It does look cheap unless there's something we're not being told. | lefrene
17/12/2023 12:45 | Very attractive price now to buy in for any new investors imo. | parob
15/12/2023 13:52 | patt, I don't know but I suspect that the basic bulk chemical commodities industry operates on thin margins, perhaps no more than 15%? If so, then their 30% margin ain't too bad, but because of the low turnover it's probably the minimum required to actually break even. It needs legislation that bans or very much restricts phosphates, plus they need consumer products of their own, which can be slow and expensive to launch. Like so many AiM wunderkind this has tantalising potential, but will it reach that potential? Meanwhile it has cash, no debts, and might just be getting to a profit of some sort. Turn the screws on phosphates with legislation, and I suspect there would be big hitters wanting to buy a cheap solution to solve that problem. As Mr Shaw seems to be making greater efforts to be market friendly, if he has positive news, we might see a swift update in early January? | lefrene
