30/1/2006 20:30 | Not so daft maybe, I have a forrester wood stove with back boiler, which is tied in to my central heating using motorised valves, it saves a lot on gas used. And here is the tip. All my wood comes from double glazing firms, one firm used to dump a skipfull of hardwood a fortnight, all off cuts, mismeasurements, balls up's, ect, I,m here to tell you it burns cleanly, beautifully, with superb heat, I can also tell you that the firm doesn't dump it anymore.
