Petrofac are an amazing company and I was switched on to shares when they floated at around 450p, I knew of them from when I worked at Parker and they were a big player then, they are now massive!

Concerns with them is they are very big and expensive and probably valued correctly, I will have a look though.

No worries for apologies for Friday, all I ever ask for is communication!

Money should be in the bank today, so will send an email out tomorrow ish, with our next vote!

morning all, apologies for my non attendance - I have some saving to do as i'm off to glasto next week and have a holiday to turkey the week after!

If we are going to make a foray into higher value shares, I think we should revisit Petrofac - I think Gavin put it forward a while ago and I've been tracking them for a bit and thought they look good.

To be honest I think THR are just going through the same process as before, where they settle at this level for a while before spiking again, when news is due. You can tell not much is happening, as the THR Bulletin boards are really quiet. I have just bought us another 13k at 2.5p, which as soon as we see a spike I will sell, the opportunity was too tempting at these prices.

We still have 400ish to spend on something or spread over some of the others.

My opinion we buy more PAF or SLE?

Hopefully people have worked out to set an email alert, so you can pick up when somebody has posted, if not I would recommend doing it.

Make sure you add this as a favourite, makes it much easier to find, do this for all threads you want to follow. Secondly adding email alert lets you know when somebody posts somethings so also worth doing.

Anyway we have around £700 to spend, do we split over shares we own or buy somebody new?

It is a difficult one, when and if the news comes it could fly but it is very risky! Have a look at range resources code rrl, I think they have huge potential

Evening rgjones,

Just been browsing the BB's on angel and it would appear that a lot of guys are loosing faith in the company so I'll probable keep my spare pennies for the time being and start looking elsewhere. I'll let you know if I find any interesting opportunities ( Or might just hop on the Thor bus ).
